As far Clixsense is concerned - No, Mods don't get any monetary compensation; it's a voluntary job.
(Though they might get some special privileges/features related to their CS a/c.)

The position as moderator is a volunteer position and there is no compensation plan. Moderators are also NOT considered to be an employee of ClixSense.

I think he left out the word 'not' because moderators are not employees.

Brother Nicorj , you have no idea how hard a job it is to be Moderator . Actually they should have a little something for all the hard work they are doing . You are still young , I am writing as 4 years Senior at another page . Moderators / much writing active Seniors often is like Ptcscrutiny wrote often by new members considered as employees of the page . They also are but on volunteer basis .
