I have a good handful of direct referrals compared to over 1,000 directs I referred over the years.
In fact, even in that handful, many of those are ones that joined with me years ago.

I've been very busy offline the past few years but even so, I will place my ref link in a traffic exchange
every so often and gain another referral or two.

Most referrals are not going to stay the duration. This is due to many things:

-they're interested in selling not buying (in other words, they're more interested in promoting some-
thing else

-they don't understand nor do they want to take the time to understand, how they can make money
here, not just cents

-it's not their cup of tea.....they don't like viewing ads, surveys, offers, tasks

-they're still looking for the pie in the sky

-they're offline presence over shadows their time online-----they got a new job, moved, got married, etc

There's an enormous amount of reasons why people don't stick around. That's why I always say, you
shouldn't focus on the numbers. That is such a stupid saying that I have gotten sick of hearing over
the years 'numbers game'. NO it is not a numbers game......NOT if you want to make money. Instead,
it's a serious procedure to gain friends and associates with like minded interests. And that's called......

TARGET

If you don't target the market it's like selling ice to eskimo's.

Do not lie to people. It won't do you any good to do so. What I am referring to is it's best to
have your own web page, blog, etc and explain exactly how your offer works and exactly how
much potential is in it for them. That way, those people that want the pie in the sky will move
onward and those that want to feed their families, have extra money for Christmas, have hard
work ethics, will join and at least use the system for awhile even if its not the duration.

@hamsou73 that's a good idea. You know what I'd do? I'll tell you.

I'd take that image and make it a tad larger
I'd then place it on my own web page
I'd then explain step by step exactly what YOU need to do to make the money

What's a TASK?
What do you mean VIEWING ADS?
What the heck is a CLICK?
Offer? What kind of Offer?
Whats a checklist......I have a grocery list.....is that what you mean?

So you see, people see your image and that tells them YOU made $16 for doing something ..... and so they might join......after they join, they don't know what to do......and so they figure some of it out and click an ad a few days.....visit the forum and feel overwhelmed.....and then they stop being active.

You're best bet is to always place yourself in the shoes of a newbie.

If you want I will create a lot of so compelling text images just for you

Did you mean that people joining under me using this image will be shocked after making just a penny & leave & the amount of money should be newbie friendly ??

BTW: I already placed the text image in my blog.

Thank you very much.

I mean that some people are either fooled into thinking they will make hundreds
of dollars weekly here or they are fooled into thinking it is something else.

What I am saying, you need to be honest with people, explain exactly how it works
and exactly what their potential would be. So yes, if you simply display the image,
they might join, click a few ads and never return. They'll either forget about even
joining, or not see it beneficial to return. And, for some people it isn't beneficial for
them because its NOT what they WANT.

The key is to always give people what they want.

Me to Eskimo:

Me- Hey Eskimo, I got a cup of ice for you and it's only $0.10.
Eskimo- What, ya crazy, I need a heater, not ice!

Me- Hey Eskimo, I got a nice heater that will keep your igloo nice
and warm all year and it's only $1,000.
Eskimo- I'll get my check book!

Therefore, it's best to always explain what you have and those that are interested
will go for it.

I see so often people saying:

BEST PTC, go here and join, I am making lots of money.

Well, many people out there don't even know what a PTC is.

So although your banner advert is nice, it's not doing the complete job. YOU have to
complete it by explaining further how you made the money, exactly what you did and
how they can do the same.

@valerie First thank you for your interest & advice.

Second I used this text image just to catch & funnel targeted traffic to my blog & when they are there they will find all the info step by step how to do it right.

Also I targeted low competition keywords to rank the webpage high in SERPS to profit from free search engines traffic.

& If you don't mind can you share with us the best site for paid traffic that gives good result & worked fine for you?

Cheers,
