I don't like Mondays, I wanna shoot the whole day down.

Believe it or not, I don't like the weekends that much since I don't get to go anywhere or do anything. There's never anything on TV from Friday to Monday night. All garbage.

Hey there! Here's a suggestion.

My hubby and I have been getting some vids each weekend from RedBox (most we paid in total per time was $3.23 for 2 or 3). We've been catching up on all the movies we refuse to spend our entire paycheck for when they first come out. LOL

Every spring, we roll up all the change we've saved during the year and take it to bank, and only use that amount. Works out nicely for our movie time.

We rent our movies, fix up some chili or burgers or tuna sandwiches, throw popcorn in the microwave, grab some rootbeers, snuggle up on the couch and have dinner and a movie night. It's fun, gets us away from compies, and we usually can get our must do's and need to do's discussed along the way.

Grab some friends, or loved ones, y'all pitch in on the weekend, and have a little fun. It really doesn't cost too much.

I also started catching up with some of my latchhook projects waiting for new season shows.

LOL as far as Mondays go......ehe. They were worse when I worked full time, and now they're just another day. Hubby likes them because he's off work on Tuesday and Wednesday (his fishing days...no traffic). And I'm happy because my TNT shows are starting back on Mondays and Fridays are Battleship and Falling Skies.

I have DISH and a nice feature is that I can go into my account any time, and add or change
my package.

Also, I have Netflix streaming and one dvd out at a time. There are times I may cancel the
one dvd out at a time due to not really seeing any newer movies that I want to watch.

There are a lot of FREE channels you can get with players such as ROKU. The free ones
usually have commercials and many show off the wall movies but still it can be fun some
times.

And.....did you know there are FREE movies and tv shows on YouTube? There are. Every
so often I will watch something on youtube such as an old episode of Mr Ed. HaHa!

I would recomend to search for Putlockers instead . Most free Tv channels tap them for the movies they are streaming . You will also find much of the movies Hulu and Netflix are showing there .

I recommend "outside".

It's way better than illuminated glass screen.

Outside is good but it can be scary at times. Rains can make us wet, not just feeling wet but really wet as in ewww wet; fighting traffic outside is far worse than doing it in GTA — I heard many have been actually grounded outside, and no dependable cheat codes there to frag the bad guys; and THE MONSTERS are very cleverly disguised outside! The other day my neighbor invited me for tea and social meet. Nice but how dare they misused the adjective "social" without its proper noun "media" or "network"! Did they expect me to engage in small talk aka mumbling and hiing? How can I express myself without emojis and hashtags? How? Oh the humanity!

Why not just enjoy them?

Actually, here in the mile high city of Denver, outside is scarier than you'd think. We have yuppies and treehuggers with cell phones hanging off their ears, tablets hanging on their belts, and laptops hanging off their hands. And I have no doubt the nerds out here are doing their Wii exercises. And the teens are sitting on benches...texting the person sitting next to them. LOL

Me, I'm a displaced Texan in a mountainous region fighting for breathing space. Been here nearly 15 years now, and I still get nosebleeds when we hike and climb even just a tiny bit in the spring and summer. And still turn into a popsicle in the winter. Fall is great though, and we have some wonderful parks and lots of free events everywhere.

In truth, no matter where you are, if you give it a little effort, you can still find something enjoyable for free or just a little pocket change. And nope, you really don't *have* to talk to folks, just give a nod or a smile and go on.

Must be nice having mountains, If you can find one in Denmark ill gladly eat my new sneakers.

Okies, I asked Yahoo "is Denmark flat?" and I got some answers about small breastages.

I asked it then if there were mountains and I got:

We were coming back from a vacation in Fargo, Colorado (way fun place) in horrible rains/floods. The only "highway" we had to come home was WAYYYYYYYYYY up in the mountains on a very snaky, winding road. And you actually COULD roll down your window and touch a cloud. We blew our radiator halfway down the other side and our tranny was wheezing and begging us to go another way!! ROFL We have an 8 cyl Ford Explorer 4X. Took us several hours to get it all sorted before going home. I'll gladly take flat/hilly!!!

Nicorj , time for a little history lesson . Denmark is also a small County in USA . It was made by Danish pioner setelers decades ago . They even still speak Danish . So I am actually not so sure if Denmark got no mountains .

Maine, South Carolina, Tennessee, Iowa, and Wisconsin have cities named Denmark.

Denmark here is more of a 'community' then an actual city. A city dweller would probably refer
to it as a suburb of Jackson, TN.

Where I come from we speak a language that's half English, half Old-Norse. Technically, it's a dialect, but it's different enough from standard English that I have to consciously switch when I'm talking to somebody from a different part of the UK.

Sadly, it's dying out, and the bigger the cities get, the weaker the dialect gets, but there's still a little bit of Denmark everywhere, thanks to those Vikings.
