Walmart has lowered their merchandise shipping limit from $50 to $35.
In other words, previously customers needed to order a minimum of $50 in order to receive free shipping.
Now customers only need to order $35 in merchandise to receive free shipping.
In addition Walmart has 'shipping pass' for those that have paid a $50 yearly ship fee.
By paying the $50 yearly ship fee, customers receive faster shipping and no minimum order.
However, not all items on the site are 'shipping pass' items.
Also, July 15th, Walmart is offering a 'black Friday' of sorts.
It all seems to be a competition factor due to Amazon free shipping with $35 order and Amazon's
black Friday in July for prime members.
