Hi guys, ranking your own website in search engines is very tough so a very good idea will be to use properties that are already loved by search engines & ranks them high in serps.

Share here yr experience with search engines.

Well I am scratching my head . What do you mean by that ? I am not understanding you . Search engines are used to search like Uncle Google . You got no influence at them .

I meant funnel traffic from a website that is ranking very well in search engines to your own website.

You find some properties that are loved by google then you create some articles there & funnel the traffic to yr own website.

Just write for humans.

It's true some keywords are competitive, but you're not going to beat someone who throws thousands of dollars at it anyway, forget it. It's also a scam. If you watch your logs, you'll discover that keywords are a nonsense anyway - in the real world, people search for phrases, not keywords. An SEO blackhat might get you to number one in the search rankings for "casino", but the only people searching for "casino" are the people searching to see what their own ranking is...

Or in other words, content is king. If your content is good, people will find it.

Just put some words in a cunning order. That's all you need to do. I get six figures of SE traffic a month just by having members post whatever they want, which is mostly boobs, rants about being offended by boobs, cats, and rants about being offended by cats. Literally no effort at all has gone into it - I haven't even got round to adding page titles yet. They just write stuff, and people searching for it find it.

If your content is not ranking very high in search engine result pages then you have no chance getting organic traffic. I think you are referring to social traffic & I am talking about organic traffic.

Lot of bladi bla . If the search line is about famous person or hot topic then it will get extra views . If someone is interested they will always find your page .

Dominating the first page of google is not a such easy thing. Correct me if I am wrong.

No, I'm definitely talking about organic traffic. Anything with the word social in it is a cancer which poisons everything.

You have to have a high ranking for a particular search a random person attempts at any given time. Look at your own search history. How many times have you searched for a keyword, and how many times have you searched for a phrase?

Here are my most recent searches

php video thumbnail without ffmpeg
gpx diff dalesway changes 2015
is github the worst thing to have happened in the whole of human history?

How many people have stressed over their ranking for these results? Exactly none. The answers are "you can't", "you'll have to buy the map", and "yes, yes it is", in that order, but the point is I'm not searching for nice neat keywords, and neither is anyone else other than those testing where they appear for key phrases. You pick up much, much more traffic just putting words in a cunning order and relying on the millions more searches a day that don't fit in a nice little, single, popular word.

You really should take a backseat on topics you know nothing about. You seem to
scratch your head on lot of topics that leaves dandruff behind.

Yes I agree long tail keyword phrases are very easy to rank for but you have to do keyword research first to find those low hanging fruits & then target them with yr content.

Not as hard as you may believe to climb the search engines fast.

While following forum rules that stated:

General Talk
Talk about everything else here

Where, I was making topic post by example of which gets indexed in the search engines. Unfortunately there
are a few members that rather troll the post and become a problem where as, the thread gets chopped, boxed, locked and kills it for everyone.

My post was setting the stage to give members some insight by example, but if people rather keep on the negative side of things and not directly engage on the actual topic at hand. Then it's not worth the trouble
to demonstrate how to get organic traffic.

Only thing that is important is what I post and everyone is welcome to make a non sense reply to only read back to themselves what they typed.

If you do that, then yes, you will pick up some short term gains - but you'll also burn out real quick.

It's much more sustainable to just write something that interests you. If it interests you, you can write about it every day and eventually end up with a huge catalogue of pages that naturally pick up requests for every angle of your subject.

Here is the trick :

Find properties that are ranking in the first page of google for any low competition keyword & use it for your keyword.
