The Chit Chat topic was just locked.

I'm not sure why.

Respectfully requesting any info so that whatever it was won't be repeated again.

I guess the reason is same old...ppl that don't even cotribute to our community keep complaining that they hardly get the job id's because of other subjects being discussed.But I thought that was the idea behind chit-chat...discussing multiple subjects about RF...So I am also waiting an explanation for that...

I tend to agree with that, Katy, but I'd really appreciate hearing exactly why it was closed - not to argue because what a mod says or does is not up for discussion - but to learn from it so it's not repeated. (That was one heck of a run on sentence)

I'm puzzled too, the topic was going well, and nobody was fighting. Sure there are poems
and other stuff, but the main focus is RF discussion.

Perhaps they were ordered by RF to lock topic lol! or perhaps it was getting too big (likely).
Either way I think RF topics should be in tasks, but we haven't heard back from Valerie in regards
to the RF topics.

If they didn't like it, they didn't have to read it.

The people who are going to lose out on the ID's are not the well-seasoned members, so it's fairly easy to figure out who doesn't like the thread, who hardly ever contributes, yet picks over every word, emoji, poem, etc.

This is an off topic - nothing else. I didn't think that this section had as stringent rules as the "tasks" section.

People talk about all kinds of things in this general part and they seem to enjoy if very much and those topics aren't closed.

I'm bewildered. Our topic had more to do with CF than what song are you listening to, and quote of the day. I'm not picking on those topics, but I can't figure this out.

I have to prepare now to go to work (unfortunately I had to start it earlier than I wanted ),but after I'll return home,I will complain also to Admin.

Who the hell would report a topic ? it wasn't violating any rules and everything was smooth.
Jim is not the type to lock topics for no reason unless there is a serious reason, and
mods don't do that here, maybe the topic was locked because it was getting big,
if there was a violation of some sort the mod would have given a reason.

Don't worry this will be sorted out. The topic was nearing 200 pages, probably just nothing ! Valerie usually gives a reason and other mods too, so I'm sure it was locked because it was getting big and we'll probably be told to start a new one lol.

It was only 123 pages, no where near the usual closing point for us. There are many topics in different parts of this forum far longer - that's why I'd bet that it was a tattletale and I'm 99% sure of who it is. But with no PM, no way to share ideas.

I don't think anybody reported topic, if anything they would WANT the topic open to get some ideas and ask questions unless it was a candycrusher member who had it locked Maybe the copyright holders of CandyCrusher and GTA contacted CS ? lol.

OR someone who reported you because they don't like the poems (the same one who bashed you in the other topic.)

I mean there are many reasons to lock a topic but over poems, a mod could have simply addressed this instead
of locking a topic. When people post abusive information, cheats, exploits, etc nothing gets done but when people
post poems topic gets locked ? That is unreal
