More money than sense.

I just did a survey about music equipment. It asked me what I owned, and then asked me how much I paid for my head phones.

I paid £1.99

The lowest option was Under £50.

I had another survey earlier in the day that asked me if I planned on spending more than £7 on a bar of chocolate. I live on plastic and sugar, but no. Are you insane in the mind? What sort of person spends £7 on a bar of chocolate? I can buy seven "sharing" (yeah, right, nobody shares a "sharing" bar of chocolate, but "greedy git bar" probably doesn't market well) bars of chocolate for that.

I had another survey that asked me with what frequency I bought clothes. Every day, two or three times a week, once a week, or less often. I actually buy clothes two or three times a decade, if I can help it.

But this isn't about the surveys. It's about the money. These seem preposterous to me. I'm not interested in the surveys, I'm interested in the fact that anyone thought these were valid questions to ask.

So is the recent not very good economic situation been caused by people maxing out credit cards to needlessly spend ridiculous amounts of money on utter crap? Is the world bankrupt because nobody knows how much anything costs anymore?

I buy Lindt Hazelnut for $2.50 each some stores it $5. I buy out store has it $2.50 every week or two. European chocolate got better quality ingredients than cheap USA ones so its well worth money paying double or triple what cheap American ones plus European ones do no melt like the cheap American ones.

When want real expensive chocolate I buy Leonidas Belgian Chocolates: 1 lb Signature Gianduja -- Almond & Hazelnut Praliné cost $30-60 depending when buy it.

It is immoral to buy Belgian chocolate in bars. You're supposed to buy truffles.

LOL the way to this woman's heart is through truffles! Belgian preferably.

On topic, I won't get started again on what I think about these surveys. ;)

Just got back from taking MIL to hospital. We're all worn out.

Have a good one!

Ah, the way to a woman's heart and all that...if music is the food of love, then it makes sense to play cutlery, right?

So why doesn't anyone stick around if I play the spoons on a first date (and I normally do, I can't help it, it's a character flaw - give me two spoons, and you know they're getting played)?

Poor Mr. Furry! Now see, you're way out there in blimey land. If you hit the Southern U.S. I have a feeling you'd find plenty of long legged Southern gals who would enjoy your spoons. Get a little more south and there'll be some who'd enjoy the washboard, too!

Aye, but I haven't had one of those since the 90's.

If you're only going to export two things, you may as well be the best of it. Speaking of which, has anyone invented Cannibal Chocolate yet?

And now I've just had a survey ask me if I'd rather give up chocolate or tea.

I'm traumatised by the thought of having to choose between the two.

Without a doubt, I'd give up the tea. No trauma here!

I've drunk the dirty dish water Americans call tea. Tea is supposed to be hot. Made with boiling water, not boiled water. It's also supposed to be strong. So strong, that the steam contains the LD50 of caffeine, and kills anyone within a four mile radius who hasn't already built up a tolerance. And black. So black that when the tea looks into the abyss, and the abyss looks into the tea, the abyss goes "Wow, you're dark".

It's a much harder question with real tea. I gave that question more consideration than I ever remember giving to any survey question. I eventually said I'd give up chocolate.

I would die before I give up two things caffeine and chocolate. I hate tea though since my dad said put to much sugar in and started making it. Now can not stand it funny how after not drinking it for two decades can not stand the stuff.

LMAO sounds like Louisiana chicory (coffee). Crank grease at its best. Best stirred with a titanium rod instead of a spoon. ;)

Nope, I don't drink the regular teas. The bolder the better. But would still give it up for choccies.
