Last night I watched the 2009 movie of 'The Revenant'. I liked it. I thought it
kind of odd that I had not seen it before because at my age, it seems like I have
watched every movie out there, that is older than the past year or so.

Anyway, the movie was really good.....of course it is nasty in regards to zombies
and gore. I found it very hilarious though.

I decided to watch it because I am wanting to see the new 2015 movie 'The Revenant'.
I didn't know there was a 2009 until I saw it listed on Netflix.

Watched Scream last night. I used to love Neve Campbell with all my penis heart. That's probably why I mistook it for a good film originally. It's actually terrible.

Most "cute girl in peril" films are just awful once your libido dies.

Open Windows (2014) IMDB

Watch these movie few days ago and it pleasantly surprised me. Great idea from the maker of the film to place movie in a new perspective.

Watch trailer if you want. :)

Yep. Don't even know what it is. I mean, I know it's a film, I know it's got Al Pacino in it, but that's it.

Also, I've never seen Star Wars.

Scarface was a good movie when it came out in the early 80's.
It goes way overboard in many aspects of it, but a lot of movies do even today.
Basically, it's a mafia/drug movie.

Starwars, I went to the theater when it first came out. A friend of mine bragged
on it so much that I was ready to go see it that week. My husband fell asleep
during it and I was just about as bored. I never could get into the Starwars
movies and they seemed more like a bad rendition of Startrek but for kids.

I watched Being Human. I know it's not a film, but I watched every series from start to finish in one go, so it's like a film, and it still counts.

I liked it. This isn't the first time I watched it. In the main, it's British Drama at it's best, but, I've got to say that suspension of disbelief has it's limits.

A ghost, a werewolf, and a vampire all living together and trying to be nice, in a world full of other ghosts, werewolves, and vampires, all completely invisible to humanity, I can accept that as a premise. That's fine. It's even fine when they replace the original werewolf, vampire, and ghost with a new werewolf, vampire and ghost, and have them defeat Satan himself. That's fine too.

What I can't accept, what stretches suspension of disbelief to new limits is the number of coats. The ghosts are both female, and don't get to change their clothes at all. The vampires and werewolves are all males. What man owns that many coats? They get through at least two every episode. Some episodes, they get through half a dozen. Who owns that many coats? Even if you did own that many coats, where on Earth would you keep them?

I'm just not buying it. It's completely unbelievable, and ruins an otherwise down to Earth, gritty, realistic series. It's all good, except the coats.

Maybe thats it 'realistic' in that they don't want bad brains to become
comfortable with the reality of non-reality so they have lots of 'coats'.

Grave of the Fireflies. A very sad Japanese movie. Set during the war. A must watch.

Something worth watching on a weekend -- the late Robin William's movie The Bicentennial Man

I just love how they were able to use Isaac Asimov's Laws of Robotics in that movie

A few of my friends have recommended that I start watching Game of Thrones. I checked IMDB and saw its amongst the top rated TV series of all time.
Anyone here who has seen and recommends Game of Thrones? [no spoilers please ;) ]

Like The Walking Dead, one has to really start from the beginning ;)

Ok, I promise -- no spoilers ( keep your eyes on the midget, lots of blood and gore, treachery, blah-blah-blah )
