The camera in your TV is watching you

There is nothing in my bedroom of interest of anyone --so have at it lurkers. It is Sunday and time for David Jeremiah on TV. My Bible lesson since I don't drive and cannot get to church. Maybe someone would be interested.
Then back to ClixSense for some more earnings.

Well whoever said that is very ignorant.

There is not a camera in my tv or any tv that I know of.

If anything would be close to eavesdropping it would be the new routers....and computers of course.

Some people are afraid of googles new router because it talks to them.

I don't think we've totally reached the 'I Spy' realm yet but I do think it is coming some day.
The excuse will be for crime prevention/security.

With the amount of commercials I get to see on local TV ( as much as some cable shows too ), that's reason enough for me to keep it turned off and unplugged all the time -- those new "high-tech, ultra-thin, energy-efficient ( *insert selling script here* ) TV" aren't worth the time anyways

I never thought about it but there is a benefit to being hearing impaired--I cannot understand stuff on the TV so I seldom watch it. If there is a camera there it is almost useless anyway. Big Brother can find you if he wants you also.

I have 6 tv's.

Living Room - 55" Samsung
Den - 48" Samsung Smart TV (it's dumber than a rock)
Kitchen - 23" Toshiba
Master Bedroom - 48" Samsung
Guest Bedroom - 23" Toshiba

Guest House - 48" Samsung

Also, I have one of those handheld tv's that drives you insane unless you are already insane.

Well, it's not that your Tv's would want to know what you have to say, but it's those little people
inside the Tv that wants to ease drop to learn everything about you.

Why they call them Tv's, Smart Tv's.

When you OPT in for Anything called Smart, you give up your consent of Privacy!
