Anything weird ever happen to you? Did you ever see anything weird?

Here is something weird that happen to me and to this day, I still don't
know why.

My big toe nail came off! Yep. I think I was in my twenty's. One day
I was removing my sock and felt a bit of a snag. I noticed my big toe,
the nail was coming off. No bruises. No marks. No pain. It only took
a few days and the entire toe nail came off. The fun part was watching
it grow back.

I thought it the weirdest thing.

Back when I was in the 7th or 8th grade I had a weird dream.

In the dream, myself a few other guys where walking a tree line and came up on a cleared path and
when I cleared the tree line about 50 feet away was a fenced in electrically facility.

What was really weird. It stop me in my tracks, had me puzzled, almost scared.

What I seen was identical in the dream I had the previous month. I recall back then when
I had woke up. Why did I have dream like that.

When I came up on that facility. I got my answer to my dream. It was a warning. Danger ahead.

Speaking of toenails.

I crushed a toenail one day. Not on purpose. Wasn't my toenail.

This was back during Jr. high playing summer baseball.

I was the teams top pitcher and batted 4th too.

On this event, I hit a double. Sprinting to 1st base, Chris the first baseman attempted to keep me
from advancing to 2nd base by standing on the first base bag and had his foot on the corner of
the bag.

I play to win and I wasn't about to be slowed down. I was going to make it to 2nd base.

In doing so, making the turn to second. I planted my foot on the corner of the base and there
Chris had his foot planted as if I was going to slow down and go to his right and instead
of me being concerned with him foolishly putting himself in jeopardy of being hurt.

It was only obvious I was not slowing down, but going faster and making the turn. Chris
, the first basemen made no attempt to pull his foot out of the way and in doing so, I stepped
on his foot of which is where the corner of the base was.

After the game, he came up to me and said, you busted his big toe nail. I said Chris,
well, you should of not tried to block me and moved your foot out of the way.

Of course I felt bad Chris being hurt, and no way trying to hurt him.

But, it was his decision to become part of first base.

My sister when she was 14 and vacationing in Florida, a creature in the water (I think jellyfish),
stung her big toe and her toenail came off. But her big toe was all colors and wrapped up by
the doc like a mummy. I remember calling her names such as 'ugly mummy toe'.

I should have named this topic 'Big Toe Nail'.
