What does the economy actually do?

You can use it to trade time spent doing x for time spent doing y. Meanwhile, people doing z tell us how much x and y is worth, even though they're not a party to the transaction. People w have lots of economy and people v have no economy, and it stays that way because they all believe person z for no particular reason.

Ask person z to show you the economy, and he'll show you some figures in a database. Tell him no, you don't want that, you want to see the actual economy, you want to see the tangible thing. He can't show you it, because it just doesn't exist. It's imaginary.

My prediction for the economy is that people will continue to believe in the fairytale, and continue to oppress or be oppressed based on this fiction.

My personal interaction with the so called economy should hopefully be limited to entertainment only by the end of the year. There are very few areas I'm not self-sufficient now - the primary ones being production of tea (it's planted, but not grown enough yet), and internet services (I do have a mesh, but no way to throw a packet over a mountain or ocean).

This is some strong tips for you:

-Focus- You really need to not allow others to rule your life because you only have one life to live. So no matter what others are doing or what others tell you to do, remember it is your life and it is you that will suffer the bad decisions you make in life. So think very carefully before making decisions.

1. Discard These Two Payments- There are 2 major bills you may always have unless you learn to save and focus on owning and paying for them as fast as you can. 1: House 2: Vehicle Both of these items can keep you in debt your entire life due to interest fees.

2. Be Food Wise- Food is usually the 3rd major bill people have.

3. Education- Get a job, date after college, study, do your best to NOT take out student loans.

The economy always gets worse.

Economy unlike garbage told on tv is yet to improve to 2007 levels. Half gave up looking or got on disability or some form of government handout.

ACA has made health insurance cost way more for us few who fully pay for it. They eliminated my platinum plan best could get is silver with open network meaning I could do as out dumb president said use any doctor or any hospital. No other plan had only doctor I see.

2009 had $1000 deductible for $250 a month. That went up to $450 this year. Now I be paying $400 for $3750 deductible plan. Every year goes up way high. Cheapest plan could get catastrophic and have pay fine is $300 a month. Bet its cheaper in other states but that what cost here.

I made 1/3 of what did in 2014 and only able get up that high as run some non-stop sales last 4 months of year. Bet I be running them all of 2016.

That depends what your goals are. I worked my way through uni. I always hated students, even when I was one, it was a good excuse to avoid students as well as the loans. On the other hand, I've never taken a job I don't believe in, and ...I don't think I've ever earned as much as minimum wage - which would exempt me from paying back student loans. For me, a student loan would have been thousands of dollars (well, pounds) for free.

So, decide what your life will look like before deciding whether or not to take out a student loan. If you're going to work with charities, take the loan. If you're going to work for money, avoid the loan.

University degree in 90% of cases be worse idea ever. Going to trade school to become plumber/electrician can make much more better idea. Most of them so cheap can pay for them with no loans too especially if you work at least year after high school.

My parents still belittle me for not using mine and make whole lot less and become almost minimum wage teacher (yup if count all hours take to teach its probably one the lowest paying job that requires a degree). I ignore them as I think they dumb preferring me to be always broke just too use a degree that did not cost that much think student loan on it was under $3000.

Yet they ok with my sister quitting her job and getting a worthless degree and them support her and her soon for three plus years. I told her type degree to get if she wanted nice job from me. She did not listen so now she not making as much from me as a monkey could do what I hired her to do.

Well, it's certainly true that some degrees are better than others...

Also, I'd much rather a CV contain a link to Git logs, than someone tell me they've got a degree in computer science, where they learned to become structured programming, object oriented script kiddies.

I believe education is very important but a 4 year (bachelor) degree and beyond, may not be for everyone.

Only looking at the money side, there are a lot of jobs people can do in which they earn more than someone
with a 4 year degree.

Some people earn well in the armed forces and get to retire early. I have family that did.

Some people become license plumbers and many of them earned while they learned as an
apprentice. I have family that did.

Some people become electricians and they get paid very well.

I grew up in the 60's in Chicago land and at that time, factories were abundant. There were
many steel factories and I had family that worked and retired from them. My grandfather worked
for the city as a trash pick up man and he was paid very well ..... he lived to be 90 and everyone
said it was due to all the walking he did in his life. My grandmother worked for a major gas company
and retired with an excellent pension.....she was a clean up lady in the gas company. Back in those
days, jobs were plentiful in the USA. It would be very weird if you said you couldn't find a job....
people would laugh at you or worse.

Today, is nothing like it was then. Nothing. If the economy gets good, its always only for a moment
because it will revert back to a worse stage and the good never catches up. Mortgage rates are going
up in the USA presently and so is the housing market. The cost of rent has skyrocketed to the point
people cannot afford to rent any more and better off with a mortgage.

I guess we'll have to wait and see if Trump eats his words or what! HaHa!

Yip. As I've said many times, this is Fimbulvetr and Ragnarok is nigh. All empires fall. Every single empire in history has fallen. This one will fall too.

Quote:Globalization , democracy and tehnology CAN NOT survive if they are together

We haven't invented democracy yet. We have representative cockwomblery instead. You're right though - Democracy doesn't scale, it is necessarily a local thing.

Quote:we opened it and we will not survive .

Sure we will, Ragnarok is cyclical. Take away the metaphor, and it's still cyclical. Every time an empire falls, those who escape unscathed are those who retreated to more natural ways of life without the dependencies on their nearest empire.
