I'm not sure.

If you have a friend or relative from the US who you trust, you could ask them to buy you tickets and you could send them the money? They'd be holding the ticket (s), and if they happened to win on one of their own tickets, but not on yours - what a mess

I played and of course lost. Odds are terrible but of course if you don't play, what chance do you have of winning 1 billion? But not certain if it would be all that nice to be THAT rich. What a target you would be.

LOL

We got 2 powerball and 1 megamillions (for Colorado). I saw two numbers and just did start to get a wee bit excited. So we got 2 numbers right on both powerballs and 2 numbers on megamillions, then I went to bed. ;)

I know this is quite a bit old ( and late for this topic ) but I just couldn't believe someone would actually use GoFundMe just to get a lottery fix *facepalm*

It sounds like she really did place it as a joke and it backfired on her.

It's never a good idea to joke around with other peoples money. There
is all kinds of people online and many that are very good at heart. They
are gullible and didn't realize she was joking and I would go so far to say
that the people that donated, probably consisted of others that had actually
actually spent a boat load on lottery tickets.
