Thats why you should focus on the promoting side of earnings on CS & make money while you are working in yr full time job. Make sense isn't it?

maybe dowload firefox, if you have an Android or iOS. That way, you can use the toolbar.

I think those having a birthday will be just fine without you congratulating them.

Get organized and use your time wisely.

ya friends , you all are right , I think.
and hey I use tool bar and every thing ....but main thing is I am just seeing every thing in tool bar but can't do any thing coz still in work and don't have time .

Valerie ma'am , ya sure a birthday person will be fine ,I wish or not . but just for a while put yourself in my place .it's your birthday ,every one in your real life wishing you and you came here in virtual world .and here too you got a whole thread with your name on it and a dedicated post their with good wishes by some people ,you barely know ...
is this thing not gonna spread a little smile in your face ? if yes ,then only this is my motto ,to spread joy in real world and in virtual world .that's why I give more preference to this thread .....
ma'am you are celebrity here and I and lots more are normal people here . It means me a lot ,when I get thread to me ,dedicated post to me etc here..... if you still think it's waste of time ,tell me I'll stop.

To be perfectly frank, people are better off online, not relaying their birthday to the
internet world.

Also, many people use social networks such as Facebook in which birthday wishes
are congratulatory.

It's a nice gesture you are doing, I am not saying it isn't.

I'm just saying, period.

If it makes you happy, it abides by the rules and causes no harm, why should you stop doing it? It seems you actually got some people's birthday dates, so that means there are some people here who found your idea exciting, and wasn't that your goal, to spread some joy in this virtual world?

It is important to get organised of course, and prioritize. I mean, if going on with that thread you opened becomes a burden for you, it doesn't make much sense to worry about it, because yes, people are probably getting their birthday congrats somewhere else. But we all have the right to spend our free time as we please. Besides, not everybody uses Facebook, and you get to know some nice people here at CS who are probably not among your FB contacts.

Many of us take some advantage of the earning opportunities at CS when we have some time for it, but we also find some pleasure in sharing a quote, a song, a thought, a poem, a movie, a concern, a dream, or in your case, in wishing a happy birthday to others... that's the purpose of this part of the Fourm (General Talk), otherwise I guess it wouldn't even exist. And even Valerie contributes here, despite she's not earning any money for it (as far as I know LOL).

So don't forget you're free to decide whatever you want to do, both in the real and the virtual world.
Just a suggestion.

Good luck, cheers!

And did I ever say anything like "do whatever you want despite disrespecting or harming other people?". Nope. In fact, if you read my post again, it starts asking why you should stop doing something that causes no harm. Furthermore, I also said that if that thread had become a burden for you, you didn't have to worry for those people not getting their birhtday congrats.

mkpit wrote:ya I got some dates and some co contributing people ....

That's mainly why I don't see where the harm was in your birthday thread, but I might have lost something here...

It just seemed to me that you got sad and disappointed after valerie gave you her advice, and I thought that maybe because she's a moderator you had thought that you were doing something wrong and were going to force yourself to stop, so I wanted to give you a different view, in case it might be of any help to you.
But I can see I was totally wrong.

mkpit wrote:and hey about Valerie...are you saying "she is not getting paid for moderator work"?

What I meant is that when she contributes to General Talk on any thread which is not related to work or earnings, she doesn't get paid (like the rest of us), that is, she does it because she chooses to spend some of her time doing it, for the sake of it, for pleasure or whatever you want to call it. I've read at some point that moderators don't get paid for doing their job, but honestly, I don't care about that, I was just giving an example. I can see you missed my whole point here...

Anyway, my apologies if any of my words caused you to feel offended or anything. I meant absolutely the opposite.

Regards.

no friend , don't apologize ,you didn't hurt my feeling .in fact your above post was very moving and motivational for me to do that ... thanks , very very much
I was saying all that because lately I am finding myself out of CS ,due to time problem plus I got indirect warning for this thread by two moderators as well as some negative feed back from some contributors too ...that's why ,I was rethinking about carrying on this thread.....

Friend, No one asked you to stop what you are doing.
They just said use time wisely, prioritize which is important.
If you have time do it, but don't think it is your responsibility.. not good if it become your burden..

That a perfect attitude in having I grant you this.
Sorry in hearing about your company and all the best during your new job!

Clixsense in the evening is good and also consider it as weekend!

My greatest satisfaction here is earning on my own then to receive from referrals!

I usually access clixsense on day time as most evenings are busy. When not being busy and when I access it on eveving, I am surprise toward amount offers that I can complete during that time!
Just do your best!

Glad to know it, you're very welcome.

I see... you know, it's impossible to satisfy the whole world. There will always be people who like your stuff and people who will criticize it. But I'll tell you something, as long as your thread abides by the rules and is respectful, you have all the right to carry on with it. If some people don't like it, they can always stop reading it. Pure logic, I'd say.

So you're the one who must decide whether carrying on is worth it for you or not.

Regards.
