Exactly two weeks ago my precious little granddaughter Amelie came to this world.

Little did she know that her life would be a struggle from day one. Little did we know that we had to be so patient to be able to hold her in our arms.

We are still waiting. Amelie, my dear sweet baby, fight and be better soon so that we can show you the beauty off this world and that we can hold you ... forever.

She is very weak, if you lift her arm it falls right back down. And she can not swallow. This is because some pressure in the brain.

The doctors have excluded a lot of things but still don't know exactly what it is. So I guess that's the reason why nothing can be done yet and why this is taking so long.
