Oxfam has said that the global inequality crisis is going from bad to worse. The global charity says inequality is worse than it has been in 100 years.

It said 62 of the world's mega-rich own as much wealth as the poorest half of the seven billion people on the planet - and have become 44 percent richer while the poorest have become that much poorer in the past five years.

The richest 1 percent already own more than the other 99 percent combined.

Experts have long known that rich people generally live longer than poor people. But a growing body of data shows a more disturbing pattern: Despite big advances in medicine, technology and education, the longevity gap between rich and poor Americans has been widening sharply.

The poor are losing ground not only in income, but also in increasing how long they live, the most basic measure of well-being.

If you're wealthy, you can afford better health care and that is mighty scary in and of itself.

For example, say you need a kidney and go on a long waiting list. Many die before they ever
come close to receiving a kidney. If you have the funds to travel and purchase a kidney, you
will most likely get it. A poor person can't do that.

The flip side is......they are growing organs in labs so hopefully some day in the near future,
people will not have to wait but still.....could be very expensive.

I agree with the point you're trying to make, but I think you're using the wrong figures to make it. These are both outliers on the bell curve.

What's the gap like ignoring the bottom 1% and top 1%?

What's the gap like in a moderate country?

The US is quite mad compared to the rest of the world, and Scandinavia much saner than anywhere else. You will get extreme inequality in the US, and extreme equality in Scandinavia.

Figures from a more moderate country would probably give a better world sized picture. What's the gap like between rich and poor in France or Germany? They seem like places that'd be right in the middle of the bell curve.

In 1990, 43% of the population of developing countries lived in extreme poverty (then defined as subsisting on $1 a day); the absolute number was 1.9 billion people. By 2000 the proportion was down to a third. By 2010 it was 21% (or 1.2 billion; the poverty line was then $1.25, the average of the 15 poorest countries’ own poverty lines in 2005 prices, adjusted for differences in purchasing power). The global poverty rate had been cut in half in 20 years.

So there are less poor.

All these other country's that has wealth, keeps there people in poverty.

Solution really quite simple.

Open up a can of 1776 and take their country back.

Capitalism solves poverty for all when you don't have control freak tyrannt's at the helm.

You take Gaddafi for example:

Libya was the only country in the world that was debt free.

He was getting off the train.

Building new roads.

Building new hospitals.

Building new schools.

Giving 90% back to the people.

Going to start his own banking currency system backed by gold.

Hillary, Goldman Sachs, Feds and Wall Street was not going to let that happen.

So, they send Hillary in to meet with Gaddafi and Gaddafit told Hillary, if she had him killed, she would create so much choas and end up with a flood of rufugees to the EU.

An interview that can be seen on Youtube. Hillary says..... We Came, We Saw, He's Dead then she does her
wicked laughing and smiles.

Well, you see what happen to the EU. For those that don't know. Look in too it.

Nothing bad happens in America, unless it comes from the top to happen.

The rich western nations still have the ability to heal our world. I once did the math based on a sack of rice that cost $25. This sack could feed something like 300 people, or 1 person 3 meals for 100 days, or 1 meal a day for a year. I don't think the numbers have changed much but the math back then said it would take less that 1% of western income (probably closer to 1/10th of that) to feed the starving of the world.

It shocked me how low the number was. Even if it were 10%, if more people knew this don't you think they would help? Many will spend thousands on their pets and they would spend everything they had if their kids got sick. I want to give the people the benefit of the doubt that they don't know, so it is up to all of us to educate our neighbors on the needs of our 'brothers from another mother'.

I just learned another thing this year was that many who celebrate Christmas would be spending - guess what - .1% of their income on each other! :o I was shocked when I learned that. The holiday that is supposed to be about giving, we spend more on ourselves than on those that are truly needy in our world

so it is not for lack of wealth that all this suffering is happening. We have the ability

Actually the third world people live in the slums. People are hungry and make a living picking up trash can.

This why God are punishing the rich country. The Nike company paying slave wage 50 cent an hour to make 200 dollars Lebron James shoes.

Some sort of wires got crossed or something when humans were created.
Truth be known, that's why we're on earth and not having a blast on heaven with the rest of the heavenly creatures.

Back up a second.

Those billionaires were not billionaires until you made them a billionaire with your spending.

Most of you have an IPHONE. I don't.

I don't even own a cell phone. You do.

Therefore, it was your spending that made that put Apple to the top.

Consumer spending on luxury items that you can live without is what makes start up companies
go from ground floor to fortune 500 company, but it also created jobs for many people.

You all could be making more money. But, some where along the line you all allowed yourself to be
dumb down, influenced by others that knows less than you, MLM programs sucks and you rather be
dumpster diving scavengers penny banging and seeking out petty reward sites and if you don't
show up daily to produce, your out of business.

Kinda hard for me to feel sorry for anyway who don't want to take their earnings in Clixsense and invest
into a good MLM home bsed business to build residual monthly income and learn how to team work, network
and build a real income.

People just love being a slave and then grip being poor knocking on those that are living the dream cause
they stayed on point, focused, built a business.

Happy Penny Banging.

Will you stop copy pasting exactly the same post into every single thread you ever post in.

You're a very clever man with a huge penis, everyone loves you, you're wonderful. Happy now?

We get it, now shut up.
