I love to enter contests but seldom purchase lottery tickets - the odds are too terrible. But I make a point of entering contests and sweepstakes every week on sweepsadvantage.com. You don't have to pay for a membership although you can upgrade and find a few more opportunities. I've won some neat things on this site:

$1500 in gasoline gift cards
cosmetics
bath products
candy
clothing
case of artichokes (that was the strangest one)

But beware because if you win a prize with a large value, you may have to pay taxes on it. There are people winning larger items on this site like cash, cars, riding mowers and vacations.

Most contests are limited to specific geographic locations.

I some times do the HGTV cabin blog and also their big house sweepstakes.
They also have other various cash sweepstakes. I don't enter them all the
time but some times. Never won anything there but I enjoy looking at the
house decor, etc.

I get about $10,000 per year free in products through a major USA store.
I've received sewing machine, embroidery machine, scanNcut machine,
tv stand, tv stand with electric fireplace, queen size mattress, bed frame,
office desk, coffee maker, digital pressure cooker, patio furniture set, smart
watch, dog crate, laptop computer, dinnerware set, smart speaker, and lots
of other stuff. It's fun and most of it I do utilize.

I sometimes play our state's lottery. I wait till it is in the double digits because I have a large family and would like to give them all some and of course with taking care of our own problems I would like to give a lot to Jesus.
He will get his 10% and then some, to help people that need clean water and such.
