As upgraded member i still have many 0.5 cent and 1 cent add . But on rest of PTC site you see 100 add and get 1 cent , wow , you spend 1 hour cliking like idiot for 1 cent . Future ? Most site will ask you to spend hours cliking and YOU WILL PAY A CENT for that .

That's not the future, that's the past. That's why paid email died, and PTC was reborn. God knows how some still cling to life, and God knows why some think it's a model to emulate, but that's the past, not the future.

to pay its members for using it. I never got paid a cent. It was simple name.

SendMoreInfo, MintMail, HTMail?

mail.com was the opposite - you paid them, it was one of the first to offer you paid pop3 accounts.

Older than those.

Actually I did get paid with a couple of those I think.....HTMail and SendMoreInfo.
I do recall I think, advertising with those. I never used MintMail.

There was another one that was an actual email account. You would log into your
email account just like you would gmail or any other. They gave the impression
that you would want to read your email in there because you would earn if you
did. Mixed in with it was ads. In fact, they were probably the first email to place
ads in the view users view. I mean it seemed everyone used this email because
they figured why not....they'll get paid. After a long time tho, users started
complaining because we were never paid anything.....BUT then there was always
a few posting on a forum some where that they got paid. I've tried doing a
search and I can't find it. Driving me crazy not remembering the name.

Oh, that was Zwallet. You mentioned it a couple of weeks ago, and it drove me insane, until I eventually found an old Geocities page advertising it. Thank God somebody mirrored Geocities before it went down.

I was paid by them - but only once, then they stopped.

YES! That's it! I was going nuts trying to remember that name.
For some reason I was thinking it had the word 'mail' to it so I
was way off and probably would have never recalled the name.

I thought about using 'way back' but that is not helpful if I
don't even know the name.

No, I never was paid anything but maybe I didn't use it enough.
I don't know but apparently it wasn't all that since it didn't last.

Thanks for the name reminder. :P
