I beleive in the Urdr - the wyrd. It's not quite fate, but kinda is. It's like...the interconnectedness of all things. Your past shapes your future. Every decision you make has ripples. As The Doctor explains. When you die has already been decided, not by some higher power, but by you, and the life you've lead. I don't see that putting a date on it makes any difference. So yeah, I'll take the money.

Hell could not be much worse than living so I either be little worse off, same, or alot better when I die. But I in no hurry to see which of 3 it is.

A friend of mine is dying, he's got a matter of weeks left now. He was depressed for a while, but then he came to terms with it. Now, he just cares about spending time with his husband. All things considered, they're happy. They know they haven't got long, and they're making sure they have a damn good time while they still can. I don't think this is particularly unusual for people with terminal illnesses.

I think we're better at dealing with mortality than we think we are. In fact, the biggest grievance of those left behind is "If only I'd known", "If only I'd had a chance to..." - if you knew exactly when, you'd be able to tidy up all these loose ends.

It might take some time to get your head around it - so there'll be exceptions if the date you're given is "next Tuesday" or something like that - but I think it might even be better than not knowing once you've got your head round it.

Bloody hell ! ;) Rod is right, there is a bug going around !

You made this question too easy mate :D No sacrifices ? no nothing ? So basically
the DEVIL would give me $100 million ONLY in exchange for telling me the time of my death ?
HA ! that sounds like an offer I can't refuse.

I would accept the money because I probably know I'm not dying any time soon :D
I would probably bargain with the devil, for an extra $100 million, tell me HOW I will die,
accident, illness, etc. lol !

and I would make best use of that $100 million - in fact knowing the exact day and time of death might have some benefits
I would use most of the money to do GOOD, help people, donate, and basically enjoy the rest of my life and make the best out of it. Travel the world, start companies, etc.

LOL are you sure that it's the DEVIL, I don' think so.........otherwise if anything else was involved like
killing someone, sacrifice and all that s... I would obviously say NO !!!

..... on second thought, any time the DEVIL is handing you over $100 million, you should really be concerned.

But now I figure it is a trick question - the DEVIL is tempting you with such an offer, but there is probably some fine print somewhere, so the best thing is to discuss with your lawyer first and get back to him on that ! ;)

Sorry mate but I kinda disagree with you in claiming hell cannot be worse than life. Even the worst lifestyle a person can have in this life time could not compare to the eternal torment of hell - in fact if you were to visit hell for a few minutes you'd probably be super thankful for what you have in life and live it more.........NOTHING compares hell to even the worst suffering a human can go through on this earth.

But the OP's question does not involve hell, it is a simple exchange of money against giving you info, that is not a sin in itself, what you do with the money and your life after, is your decision, you can make good with it or evil, otherwise by that flawed theory every rich person would automatically go to hell.

I also disagree that we shape our own death - I strongly believe that we have a path and destined to stuff......If we make changes to our timeline, events occur to steer us back to the timeline with similar outcomes. I do believe that everyone has a set time of death, including accidental etc,

The only problem with KNOWING your exact time of death is under circumstances where the death involves suffering, illness, etc............For many, knowing this info could cause a lot of anxiety, and no amount of money would help......for others it would make no difference.

Considering the many *censored* that are now running for Presidency ( yes, it's election season too in my country ), I guess it be the best time to cash out -- and get the heck somewhere else

Unless those devil's are the same ones that wrote the Microsoft Windows 10 User agreement... I'll have to think again
