I think it is a chipmunk.

No doubt about it --- that is definitely chipcoon from the family of squirrelous cuteous. They seem to be very common
in the State of Tennessee and some times in the State of Confusion! :lol:

I think you're correct.

That is definitely a chipcoon from Tennessee......HEYYYY is that my chipcoon and if so where did he get them coconuts?

Chipcoons are known to be partial to Tennessee coconuts! Give them a taste and they will be your friend for life!!

They are Squirrels. They are "Indian Squirrels". They are aplenty here in India.

How cute this is, but it's crossed up with a chipmunk and a squirrel, or raccoon, or something :?: I have chipmunks in my back yard , and they are fast little critters and so cute :lol: Glad to see the photos, thanks for sharing those. :)

Hmmm, I wonder if chipcoons or India squirrels would get along with Texas squirrels? We have many that live among us. They are always on watch, alerting us of someone or some cat or dog coming through the apartment complex. There was even a littler of two born in the huge oak tree 20 feet away from me. Don't have any photos, but have lots of memories since I am always on the lookout for them. I even shared some of my Christmas hazelnuts with one.

It's not in the USA, It's in India right now, and I'm not sending these cute ones there. :mrgreen: We rarely see chipmunks here. The photograph is of an Indian squirrel in my backyard. :lol:
