Hello,
We’ve received a lot of tickets regarding training job rejections that last few days. We started answering these questions individually, but in order to get you all the help you need fast, we need to respond to the remaining tickets in a more efficient way. I’m sorry we can’t look at all the specific job ID(s) you provided, but here are common themes we’ve seen that will hopefully give you the answers you need.
First of all, we have discovered a bug in our rejection feedback system. We believe that many of you felt you were rejected incorrectly, because the rejection reason you could see in your history was wrong. In many cases, even though the reason specified was wrong, the actual rejection was fair. We have fixed this issue now, so we encourage you to look through your rejection history again to learn why you were rejected.
There were a few cases, however, where the rejections really were unfair, so we are undoing them. Please allow 24 hours for your rejection history to reflect these changes. We're sorry for the stress this caused!
Duplicated dog images
The rejections received for this training job, involving scrolling down to see new images, were not really fair. We are going to revise the job so it's not as difficult and reverse the rejections you received for it.
File download and upload
We have gone through many of these and found no bugs in the training job. While most of these rejections are justified (for example many people downloaded the file multiple times or answered a question incorrectly) there were a few instances, where we cannot prove that your rejection was fair. We are going to reverse the rejections about which we are not 100% sure.
Google + clipboard icon
These rejections will not be reversed. We have gone through a lot of the jobs and determined that the rejections fall into the following categories:
you clicked on the
Google link instead of the clipboard,
you answered “Yes”, while you should have answered "No" (there were scissors or a blank box instead of the clipboard),
you answered “No” at the last step because the page said more than just “Google”. Always make sure to follow instructions exactly and answer "No" if the job doesn't accurately reflect what the step instructions are asking you to do. If you are asked if the page says “Google” and you can see “Google” as a title and a bunch of other things below, answer “Yes”, because the page does say “Google”, even though it also contains other things.
We’re working on making the feedback system better so the training jobs can be a better learning tool and you don’t have to wait for a response from report to understand what went wrong. Thank you for your patience, and keep up the good work!
