I didn't read that but I can tell you that Kmart and Sears has been struggling for many
years. Sears did acquire Kmart some years ago

Many of the large department stores are struggling. A couple of years ago, JCP.com tried
something different and stopped sending out constant mail and email about sales and
discounts, presenting their prices as already the lowest. It didn't work out. They started
going under fast so they had to turn around and start doing their consistent sales, coupons,
etc again.

@ Valerie

Actually K-mart acquired Sears.

When the bubble busted, stock prices dropped for many big companies, was the best time to invest
to make a bundle.

K-mart stock dropped to .75 cents a share.

Silver dropped to $2.40 a ounce.

Ford dropped to $6.40 a share

If anyone who were watching the stock market, had cash to invest. Would of made a bundle on those 3 stocks.

Ok, I knew something acquired something.

That's not all, however. There is also LandsEnd and something else....all under
the same roof.

Their website totally stinks too.

Hey Val...The list only showed 3 closings for Tennesee, which you probably already know... :) I didn't see any for my state.
