Yes, work is required setting up a yard sale.

The return out weighs the work.

The extra money comes in handy.

One of the best rewards is when a needy person shows up and you can tell by the dress, the automobile
they are driving and during the course of the conversation.

Sometimes I've took much less on a item and / or even a loss depending on the situation they are in.

No way Tasman1. Some things are not for sale regardless the price that is offered.

You have a point UNLESS you state in your listing ALL SALES FINAL.

That's the truth. I had a yard sale benefitting a local animal shelter. One person donated a very ugly, rusty wood stove which didn't sell and weighed a ton. It was stuck on my front porch for awhile. I was desperate. Put it on Ebay and a guy drove from 3 states away to pick it up. I was amazed.

Yep, you never know what people will buy and there is most always someone on eBay
that will want what you're selling. Often you can get more for it than if you sold it at
a yard sale.

Of course, with a yard sale you can put everything out there at one time and place a
price sticker on it. Cost you nothing but your time. With eBay, it's a hassle because
you have to take pictures of everything you have for sale, log in, list the item, write
up the description, load the images, hope you get a ton of dollars for it, go to post
office, get box's, place items in box's, print out address labels........and so on and on.

Couple years back.

I bought the unique brass piece for $1.50

I had no idea the purpose of this item. I had been buying up all the brass I could find at yard sales. I had over
100 pieces of various items. Some were pretty cool too. I paid any where from .25 to $1.50 per item.

I had happen to leave my garage door open and a shopper had looked around in the garage at the other
stuff I had not pulled out and got into the box of brass that was near the door.

While I was checking out the other shoppers. He came walking up to cash out.

I had seen what he was holding. I thought, dang. He got into my brass and got the very unique piece I
was not going to sell, was going to research it and see what it was and the value of it.

I gave him a high price with the hope he would change his mind buying it. Apparently I must of under priced it.
I shot him a price of $20.00 and he didn't bat an eye or try to jew me down to pay less.

I paid $1.50 and got a $18.50 profit.

When you plant the seed, money tree's grow and money flows.

I can't say where you have read this before. I've used the line elsewhere. So you see, if you read it before
from me, I planted a seed in your sub conscious.
