is it a crime for a muslim person anywhere,no matter where he lives, whether he is an immigrant or not, to become a mayor or a politician?

big deal huh,,you got a black president ,whats the difference? :?

so what, its good and it should be universal, every person of every race, nationality and religion should have an opportunity to represent the people in the country in which they live.
the way you have made it sound MR BUGS is'nt very nice, like you are against it?

If i find out you are ,i am coming for ya ok,so best be careful what you write, coz i too am a muslim and i represent equality

thank you tiger babes :D

something seriously wrong with this guy honestly, not even one positive rating and yet i gave him a good rating i might change that to a red one soon if he don't be careful. :D

tasman religion is ok to talk abt as long as its not insinuating anything,we are all from different communities here and get on well and hopefully continue to do so.

if one person starts a topic then i am sure it will create tension amongst the sensitive ones which i don't want.

i love it when ppl of mixed religions, ethnic backgrounds get together, work ,marry cook and play ,why not?

why not let a Chinese person become a politician in Brazil? i bet he could a better job than many of them, or a 3 foot dwarf from the Barbados to become prime minister of new Zealand?

colour ,race and creed is irrelevant in my eyes as long as you respect each others cultures and beliefs ,then can we have a harmonious society.

nowadays we shouldn't focus on background,we need to consider their potential and capabilities before anything else.

I was sure this guy will make a thread to talk about it.

I am going to tell you about this guy
He doesn't care of your reply. He just want to make troubles and fight. So as long you start to fight it is ok, othherwise he doesn't care of your reply. Guess in the next posts here he will talk about worlwide wage. alex jones ect he tried with politic so now he will start will religion. Notice his previous thread about Anti Christ. He is a racist guy also, if you check his posts he says for exemple Indians are poors always, and Muslims live in stone age.....

Once he says India attacked USA during the 11 september. When i asked him how many sides has a triangle he told me 4 !
Oh and for some reason for him Dubai is in Europe

No it's not good to talk about religion in a forum like Clixsense, you give a reason yourself

So if we know it will create tension, why start about it and hurt some people ? It just end of making bad environment here wich we are not supposed tp do nor it's the right place

He just posted a link and didn't even state his point about it. You can find this news today on any newspaper and it doesn't mean the whole world is against muslims. When Obama became the first black president, it was worldwide news too, and I guess black people didn't get offended over it.

Not to defend davidbugs, but there are other members here who post similar stuff; again, this is General Talk, and it's up to moderators whether they allow to let people keep posting their stuff or not. You always have the chance to skip a post you don't like, or even report it.

Anyway, if some people have the right to be homophobic for example, why shouldn't others have the right to be racist? What a sad irony... or should I call it double standard? Just saying.

Have a nice day!

@Sarah_Hill

State his point ? But he has none what you want he says
The religion of a mayor doesn't matter right ? What matter is the job done (or not lol). So why it is all over the news ? You can guess

Of course Mods won't disallow threads like this as long people respect the rules. Can't make rules saying politics and religions are not allowed. But even if it is allowed why make threads you know it will make fights ? You see my point ?

For double standart i know what you refer, can't say i was right. I say i have opinion about it that was better to keep it for myself. I just failed in his trap lol He created this thread just for what i was saying, bring fight,

Good day to you too

btw sarah homophobia and racism are two different things, i know where you are going with this, homophobia is hating gays and to make it clear for you,i dont hate gays ok,i am against what they do.

now coming back to racisim it is more widespread than homocrap ,so theres no double standards or anything ironic here gal....
hope you understand that

If you must have a religion then the best religion to have is "buddhism" because it teaches philosophy and philosophy means "love of wisdom".

And wisdom leads to nonviolent behaviour like becoming tolerant towards others, might just change the world for the better and could eliminate all wars forever.

But many just prefer to ignore wisdom by letting themselfs be brainwashed by our world governments and their corporate media propaganda lies.
-----
For those that are not familiar with budhism here is a 5 minute introduction:What is Buddhism?
