Those who earn huge money ( eg Bill Gate , Ingvar Kamprad, others )

Working not so much just for the sake of money, but more to realize their ideas, for the thrill of doing business and that they are workaholics.

They really have no need for money without working, because they enjoy to work.

You would stop working and sit at home and become an ordinary alcoholic and fat.

Who wants to live off of Social Security if you don't have to? Personally, I'd much rather be retired on anything else but Social Security.

LOL not in America. $10 million you BARELY are considered bottom of the barrel. You need far more than that to be in the "Rich" class

Some people have ambitions in life and want to "do things" as opposed to "not doing" things, so it's not always a question of "money". Some people have enough money to retire, but want to make more money and grow their money.
If people had this mentality, then there would be almost no company in business, as company owners would say "Hey my business is successful I made $1 million my first year I think I'm gonna retire"

#1) I agree about traveling around the world and doing stuff you like, but you can still be "working" and running a business, only you would depend on others and not slave 9 to 5 for ungrateful F****

#2) Living IN the beach, now that is bit tricky, unless you are a crab

1 BILLION DOLLAR ........Year 2008 [bad times for rich ] . One billionare from Germany left a note ...I am on my last billion , can not survive on that . He left money to all people who worked for him .He went to railway station and jumped. This is not invented story but real one .

I don't think you understand what the very wealthy do or what they're about.

Wealthy people do what they enjoy doing and just because they make money
at it, doesn't mean they have to retire. Just because someone is very wealthy
and is not retired, does not mean he/she does not spend time with loved ones,
friends, travel, etc. In fact, they have more time to do those things and more
places they can all afford to go together, if they wish.

If I hit the lottery. I am going retired for good. I would not give any money to charity period.

I am going to keep all the money in the bank account. All you have to do buy a decent house, cars, pay my bills.

I am going use my money travel around the world. However I am going stay at home watch tv all the time.

I am not going up end up lottery curse list. Since I am going be frugal.

For these folks, money is just a by-product. They are after some good (sometimes evil) goals of proving themselves to the world. Bill Gates revolutionized mini-computers so that common-man also use it.

Of course, some geniuses like Nicolas Tesla did far greater things but cared very little for money.

actually rich person need to pay taxes more taxes and the main reason they don't want to retired is the thing they want become more and more.like when you have iphone you want to buy more better and new released one.you want to buy new released car .you want this,you want that so this will not over again and again.spending money is really easy,you can spend million dollars in couple days if you really want to.and reach people have a big responsibility more than not so rich people,like employees and others.the more money you have the less problem you get,because most of the problem can be solve by money but not all of them.but more money you have more responsibilities you have.

Then we have all those who have become rich by mere accident.

Take the example of a poor Swedish student, he sat down and programmed a program so that he could make free phone calls to their friends.

The program is called Skype and a company bought it from him for only 30 billion Swedish kronor and his intention from the beginning was not to make money on the program, the intention was just beginning to save some money on phone calls.

Another Swedish had been so bad with money, he decided to build his own Caravan.

Then came a person who wanted to buy his caravan and because he needed some money so he sold it and started building a new caravan.

Then there was yet another who wanted to buy the caravan etc, so he rented a room and began to build several caravans at the same time, presumably to be sure to get a caravan over to himself.

This company then came to be called Polarvagnen and became a very large company, then he wasted the money away and the whole company of some stupid business and ended up in big dept.

So you could say that some have become rich by more or less pure mistake.

I hope (and probably also davidbugs ) to do a '' such '' mistakes in life and any time soon then.

The rich people set their standard of lower. Buy a cheaper car and house. They have plenty money in the bank and pay lower taxes.

The rich folks never have to worry running out of cash. The rich doesn't have keep with jones.

The rich can live with 10 minutes. The rest of their life's.

There are things i'd '' like '' to buy, but i can not afford, so i'll forgo such things, which really is also a bit useless things that you really can live without.

I personally have no need to own the very latest gadget of everything.

So i never aspired to become rich, i am more than pleased to have so that i will survive, that's enough for me.

Wealth for me is to feel good, to socializing with friends, children and grandchildren, it is the quality of life for me.

Those who have much money, will probably also get a lot of '' false '' friends, who are not there when '' you '' need help and human warmth.

I can sit and watch TV all day, even if i'm not rich...
