Really sad to log onto the forums today and see these terrible & hate-filled topics demonising LBGT people in the "Target Boycott" topics.

I thought ClixSense was a place for people from all over the world, of all religions, colors & even sexual orientations. It seems I was wrong. I didn't see anything in the T&C that only heterosexual people are welcome here.

If religious fundamentalism is going to take over these forums, then I will no longer be able to participate in or promote anything to do with ClixSense. ll my life I have been taught to fight against hatred, bigotry & small-mindedness. I now feel extremely uncomfortable dealing with this site.

I come here to earn money with a bit of a smile. I don't want this ill-informed hatred thrust at me.

ClixSense should be better than a purveyor of bigotry & religious intolerance.

Edit: It appears my concerns about the forums are currently being addressed. Thank-you to the Mods :)

You're absolutely right - the forums are the most bigoted I've read in years, and I'm disgusted with most of the people here. I felt sick when one of them dared to call me "friend".

The forums are basically member run though. Admin is never here. The despicable posts written lately reflect only on the member making them, nobody else.

I'd also urge you to continue posting - yellow triangle, and all that.

100% in agreement BouldRake. I just wonder why members such as ProAdCo are allowed to post & maintain topics which are intended to drive members who don't conform to their rigid religious views AWAY from ClixSense.

I don't care if the people visiting my promos are black, brown, white, yellow, purple, gay, straight, bi, transgender, Christian, Muslim, Buddhist or anything else. I just want them to notice my promos & hopefully sign up or buy, no matter who they are. And I don't care about who is promoting to me.

What do I care about is that these topics being started by ProAdCo are making many members feel uncomfortable visiting or doing business with ClixSense, and are thus possibly reducing the reach of my & others' advertising at this site.

Heterosexual people are welcome here.

Please report any topic or post that is against Clixsense forum rules and it can be edited or locked/removed.

Good point sp1915. It has been so many years since I last reported a post in any forum that I plain forgot I could do that

@ seaeagle

Let me educate you a tidbit.

1. It's current news.

2. It's not an attack on LGBT community.

The issue is Target taken point of the Fortune 500 companies
being Big Corporate Bullies attempting to socially engineer the masses.

Women and children have the right to privacy & their safety from the child predators & the freaks that's using their cameras to video women and children in washroom facilities.

Instead of Target spending the money to modify, add on, a uni-sex facility, they're attempting to take the
rights away from women and little girls that makes them a TARGET for child predators & molesters.

What a load of codswallop! And the ClixSense forums are not the place to wage a campaign against the civil rights of people who you have a religious gripe against!

Your use of the term "freaks" immediately destroyed your argument. Transgender people are not freaks.

The transgender people that I know are very careful that they do not do anything which may raise any concerns when they visit a washroom. They've copped enough prejudice over their lifetimes - they just want to able to take a pee in peace.

Social engineering is another idiotic term held up by people who hate everyone who is unlike them. The term is an insult to the intelligence. Are you really saying that the average American is so unintelligent, so stupid, that they cannot make up their own mind on issues & can be "engineered" into believing anything?

It should be remembered that the USA was largely settled by people escaping from bigotry & persecution. How the hell did the country become the one that it deliberately set out not to be?

Which part did you not comprehend when I referenced those that
use camera's on women and children as " Freaks " in the washrooms.

Let me break it down even further for you

Target's policy opens the door for straight men that are twisted ( predators / molesters )
as a ploy to use the women's facilities for the sole purpose for their frills & thrills.

Yes that is correct. That's exactly what is taking place in America and has been for quite some time where
the gov't is socially engineering the masses. Of course, you would have to keep up with high tech and politics
to understand it. Other wise, one would make statements in denial that it's not true.

Not even the founder of Apple, Steve Jobs allowed his kids to use Iphones or Ipads

You are aware the vast majority of those types of photos are taken of little boys by men & youths in male toilets?

Have you even met a transgender person? You seem to think that they go through that very tough decision to change their gender identity, and all the bigotry, abuse & discrimination that comes with it, just so they can take photographs of little girls on the toilet.

You don't need to watch out for the TG male-to-female wearing makeup & a skirt. She's much less likely to molest a child than a man in a business suit who is well respected by the community & held above any suspicion.

You still continue on twisting the wording to fit your way of thinking.

You've not seen one comment where I've stated anything about transgender people.

I live by a live and let live philosophy.

Opinions are like a*sholes, everybody has one. I think leaving CS because of someone else's a*shole...I mean opinion and closed minded thinking would be a bit extreme.

@ seaeagle

FYI: I posted a news story.

Now you want to take it to it's extremes and you've manage to get my topic locked.

Now, I'm calling for this forum to be closed and then everyone will not have a forum for anything.

You can't change your gender. You can only change the appearance of your body. You may have a vagina/penis but do a autopsy and you are still the gender you were born.

One other thing. If you don't like freedom of speech then do close your account. Censorship is never right. No one is asking that your opinions be censored so why should others opinions be censored just because you don't like them?

You must of fell out of your chair and hit your head.

The Target news story has nothing to do with Religion.

Don't use that line you come here to make money.

You've been a member since 2007 and only averaged $9.00 per month.

Matter of fact. You've done more post in one day, then the entire 9 years you've been a registered member.

If you close your account, that is your business. Not my place to tell you how to run your life.

edit: typo

Freedom of speech applies to public places, not private forums.

The first rule of the forum is
Quote:Members should post in a way that is respectful of others
- which you're breaking even now. Rule three is
Quote:Members should remember this board is aimed at a general audience. Posting any material which is false, defamatory, inaccurate, abusive, vulgar, hateful, harassing, obscene, profane, sexually oriented, threatening, invasive of a person's privacy, adult material, or otherwise in violation of any International or United States Federal law will not be tolerated.
which you're also breaking.

All that's changed is the rules have been enforced in a few threads - and the worst hate speech threads are still open, because they've fallen off the front page by now.

The real questions is how you managed to get away with it so long.

@ BouldRake

None of that applies.

I posted a Fortune 100 news story.

You're just the troll that starts it all and never gets his hands dirty (or more accurately, edits posts into something unrecognisable afterwards), yes - but we both know what you're doing.
