you know what davidbugs, youre right. if this was a 24 year old man sleeping with a 13 year old girl he wouldnt even get bail. he would probably be targeted in jail too, it only takes one person to find out and then everyone knows hes a wrongun. i suppose its the same for women inside but the fact is this woman was granted bail.

a british teacher ran away with a schoolgirl to france a couple of years ago, and they were tracked down by police within a week or two. he went to jail and is still there i think.

A young man here in Australia recently testified that a sexual relationship with his female teacher during his early teenage years had caused him a lot of psychological harm. She had made him perform sexual acts that he was not comfortable with, and he felt completely powerless to say anything about it due to the professional influence she held over him (she could affect his grades if he didn't do what she wanted him to do). When he wanted to break off the relationship, she threatened to tell his family that he had raped her. He was terrified (as a 14 year old boy would be if his teacher told him that he would go to jail for many years).

The young man also said that, now as an adult, he had no idea of what was appropriate sexual behaviour if he took a woman his own age on a date, so he avoids forming relationships. He has become a lonely young man.

Some may say that it is every boy's dream, and that might be true for many - at the start. I still remember dreams of Mrs Kelly who used to wear those dropped-waist light summer dresses that would ride up whenever she sat on the desk to read to my high school English class. But that dream isn't what happens when it becomes reality.

It very quickly becomes an exercise of power, with the teacher holding all of the cards. That is why it is classed as rape - it doesn't matter what sex the perpetrator or the victim is, because rape is all about holding & enforcing power over someone.

My female P.E. teacher at high school was jailed 13 years after I graduated for having a relationship with a female student who was in one of the sports teams that often traveled & required overnight stays away. The girl was team captain, and that gave the teacher an excuse to have the girl stay in her room while traveling (to talk match tactics etc).

Again, the student said she felt unable to end the relationship & was forced to do things she found repulsive as she did not consider herself to be a lesbian. But years later she still had doubts about her sexuality, and again had problems forming close relationships with either men or women. I found the record of my P.E. teacher after a quick Google search of her name:

Just thinking on some of David's comments...there have been quite a lot of women given the death penalty and put to death in the U.S. (over 53 between 1900 and 2013). No matter the circumstances. Some states still refuse the dealth penalty, and some states are going back to hanging. BTW I found several who were hanged. Dating back to the early 1900's.

Yes, women expect equal pay for the SAME jobs men do, as many women have put in the money and time spent in education equal to or greater than those same men. No, real women don't want MORE than they deserve. They just don't want to be treated like door mats (or slaves). Considering how many men get up and walk away, leaving their wives to fend for their children (after clearing out the bank accounts). Many of these men leave their thousands of dollars of debt in their wives laps, too. So what would you have women do? Let their children starve?

From the over 211 cases of women committing these crimes (and still counting), I found that the charges and sentences were coming out the same as men in the same types of crimes. Some are short terms, some are lengthy terms, but so far, in the ones I've read up on (am at 100) these women have paid, or are paying for their crimes much like the men. Although their prison time might be just a bit different than the men's....or maybe not. There's some really badass'd women serving life sentences...but love their kids.

I can say, however, this woman David posted about is quite a bit different. The women below are not selfie addicts, look nothing like her, and did not flaunt their sexuality all over the place. And $100,000 bail amount is just about right from what I've seen in most cases. I have a feeling, though, this case might get some sensationalism up through trial. In addition to the probation, she is required to pay fines, perform 100 hours of community service, and see a psychiatrist once a month. She is also prohibited to contact the victim in person or through social media. Seoane is also required by Louisiana law to register as a sex offender and child predator for 15 years.

Lisa, pleaded guilty on July 15, 2013, to three counts of second-degree rape and two counts of forcible oral sodomy of a 17-year-old high school student. She was a teacher at High School in Oklahoma, when she sexually assaulted the student, twice in her classroom and three times outside of the school. The judge gave her a four-year prison sentence and six years probation. She must also register as a sex offender.

Linda, was a music teacher in Texas, when in 2006 she seduced a 13-year-old student. She continued having sex with the female student until she left for college. In 2012, she resigned from her teaching position without stating a reason. Two months later, school officials found out about an ongoing criminal investigation into her and the sexual relationship with the former student. On July 15, 2013, she pleaded guilty to engaging in an inappropriate relationship with a student and sexual assault of a child. Wallace was given a 16 year prison sentence.

Prison ....not sure how it is around world but here in Australia it is 4 star hotel
Sending some criminals to spend some time in hotel is in my opinion sin
Prison must be just a hole in ground and just one sh...y meal a day
