I was thinking since they are brand new, never been watched,
still in the plastic I would sell them for $3.00 each
On the other hand, might be some movies I've not seen or would like to see again, then
I would have to open them up and then they become a used movie that I can sell in the
yard sale for $2.00 each.
Decisions decisions. What should I do
What would you do?
I must say, I would have to watch the ones that interest me and then sell them. You might not get this chance again in a life time
Yea, I'll probably go through the movies and pick out the ones that interest me.
At another yard sale I visited a year or maybe two years ago. This guy had about 250 VHS. Mostly those
that you record and a about 40 VHS movies.
He sold them all to me for $1.00
He just wanted to get rid everything.
His mother had passed away, he was down from Alaska. He was clearing out the house and selling the home.
I went through the movies, got what I wanted.
VHS people do still buy them, but they are a slow seller and specially the blanks that you can record over.
Next street over, one of my neighbors that comes to my yard sale.
I went over to visit with him, told him I had a deal he may be interested in.
225 VHS blanks, many of those had been recorded with movies, some where personal gatherings, church
activities and etc. Plus a few movies I wasn't interested in.
He asked, how much do I want for all it.
I said , you can take it all for $10.00
It was shocked, he said, are you sure. I said yes, I sure.
I said, I could get way much more selling piece by piece in my yard sale, but I had so much
stuff that I don't even have enough room to put them anywhere. I'm having to store these
VHS in the truck.
He open that wallet up and handed me a $10.00 bill
