OK, here's my crying time. I have been continuing the battle with the poison ivy in my yard. I whack it down. I pull it out. I spray it with weed kill. I try the natural method, spraying with vinegar and water. It strikes back. I get a tiny, seemingly inconsequential rash and then my face, throat and eyes swell up. Thankfully, my GP can see me immediately.

He says the growing CO2 in the atmosphere which causes global warming, is making the poison ivy particularly toxic this year. Sobering thought.

At least the medicine is finally working and I can open my eyes to see now.
