Time to Ban some members

Locked

#1 by valerie » Wed Jun 15, 2016 13:54

I think it's past time for the owner of ClixSense to ban some members.

I know he doesn't have time for these childish arguments that keep
popping up.

The first thing I am going to request of him is to add the following rules:

-No political discussions
-No religious discussions

I am contacting him right now to request that. I am also going to give
him names of those that are trouble makers here that are constantly
badgering each other as if they don't have a life and nothing else to do.
Why, If I didn't have anything else to do, I would polish my toe nails or
go for a jog or read a book or eat a sandwich or go punch a punching
bag or take a nap or contact an old friend or ANYTHING BUT WASTE
MY TIME BADGERING PEOPLE THAT I DONT EVEN FRIGGIN KNOW!!!

I've contacted him and I know he does not have time for all this and neither do i.

It's just a shame you folks can't spend more time making money here and promoting
the program so you can bring in more advertisers and more referrals and hence, make
even more money.

It's fun to be able to post some fun and or interesting topics and communicate with
other members. But all this baby junk and baby arguing is hurting not just those
doing the arguing but those working hard to bring in referrals.

I tried to put up a open topic that everyone could discuss anything that they wanted to but that just fell apart. So I just give up.....

Why would I need to ask him?

He has already made a report/post about that and displays in your account.
Basically, they're working on resolving whatever issue it is.

Good idea but why punish all for a few bad apples?

I remember at work once getting a letter warning everybody about being drunk at work due to 1 person being drunk, So all 400+ members of staff got the letter, not fair to tar everybody with the same brush.

There maybe 2 3 or 4 people who start threads to cause problems so forum bans are all thats needed not site bans.

Start at 1 month ban then 6 months 1 yr and lifetime forum bans would be my suggestion.

As some threads i enjoy reading like Err Erm Payment proof threads, the tasks threads (occasionally) And some in this subforum.

At the end of the day people should be 16 or 18 to use this site? Maybe some could start acting like adults

A possible solution would to move political threads to a new subforum dedicated to those topics, so General wouldn't be clogged up with these types of threads, and that so only people who want to see political stuff would see it.

You are senior member here but you don't know for what a forum is.
*close the forum* forum is a place for newbies to learn a lot,to ask seniors about their problems, to report the problems on forum then why should they get punishment .
And if they take your fool suggestions you know what the result will be.

*I know there are some members spoiling the forum with non-sense threads, they should be punished not we.They are the guys with -10--- reputation but still they don't want to learn from it.

yes i do agree but i wouldnt ban members i would just give em a caution to behave coz clixsense is a wonderful site and people should resect the forum and other members here,i have had a few runnings in with someone here but now i just ignore them,i have some wonderful friends here, the moderators and staff are very helpful and kind and yes valerie is right that time shouldnt be wasted on frivolous arguements,,theres plenty to do with our time rather than wasting over silly things.

we are all grown and mature enough to realize this

Agree that "newbies " can have a big advantage of the forum and this in turn may be beneficial for ClixSense and us.

To shut down the community completely might not be so good.

I took heed of valerie's stern advice a couple of weeks ago & decided not to make any comments in topics which raise my ire. Got better things to do with my life than argue politics or religion in a public forum.

Lighthearted topics such as the recent ones about what our favorite berries are, what we wear etc are much better for a place like this, which has visitors of all ilks from all around the world. They allow everyone to participate & get to know each other better without getting into petty arguments.

* lol * - Kung Fu Fighting -

The colors won , so i gave up ...

No, the fact is that yesterday i was finished with all painting indoors.

( I do not start thinking outside of the house now, where it must of course also be a color  )

So now i will put floor mats and hope that i do not have to fight for the colors of them also.

It is one thing to choose a color or a matte pattern on their " small " test pieces and how it will be late when it comes up in a larger space , but i'm starting to see a little bad, so it might be an advantage.

How can you Cook food if you have no power !! ?? ... Can you just eat cold food which , like salad and that kind of disgusting stuff.
