the pattern looks good, but maybe an entire floor is a bit much. the best idea there is post #6 above the worktop, it looks like a splashback for a sink

Well it's impressive , would have like to have something in my kitchen , a little unique and different ( until everyone has imitated me =Bc )

Because an entire floor to become perhaps a little too much , can agree with it (and become more expensive too * cough * )

In the United States, it is illegal to destroy currency of any kind in regards
to federally issued money. That includes cash bills and it includes coins.

I remember back in the 1970's and once again in the 1980's, there was
a dramatic 1 cent coin shortage. I think it was in the 70's that the banks
were giving extra money for every 100 cent coins turned in. For example
if you turned in 500 1 cent coins, you got back $5.00 in bills and a nickel.

What happen was people were saving their 1 cent coins.

In the bank where I banked at that time, they had a huge clear acrylic
type case. It was in the middle of the bank floor and I guess it was
about 12 x 12 feet and maybe 6 foot high. When people turned in their
pennies, they were then dumped in that case. It was all a big todo in
order to get people to turn in their pennies because the country was
literally growing short of them.

Anyway, REAL USA federal pennies cannot be glued to a floor, not legally.

People saved pennies, basically for 3 reasons. One was the value of copper on the rise.

Ah! Millions of people are dying of hunger and some people are busy decorating their houses with money. Alas! :(

Man cashes in $5,136.14 pennies he's been saving for 45 years into his account to go toward a recent dental bill.

I'm not too proud to pick up a penny I see on the ground. One more cent going into the piggy bank... :$

Looks like a pure case of harassment. You should report it, plus send a support ticket.

I've sent a support ticket and plus one to Jim.

Pennies meant much more back then. Up til around the 80's, people could still buy
stuff with 1 cent. There was still 1 cent candy and gum. Sales tax's were often
lower and the cents was handy to cover the tax.

Saving pennies was a way to teach your children how to save money.

The piggy banks were extremely popular in the 60's and 70's.

Coin collecting.....searching for old valuable pennies was very popular.

Basically, it was just a fun and often not even thought about, thing to do in regards
to saving the coins.

We settled and AstyKiz was friendly enough and withdrew -1 from me.

I think this thread is interesting and exciting.

As fun to watch in here every day and see if there have emerged some new and nice.

In Sweden , as long as i can remember , there have been a pretty big interest in building things with matches , such as , buildings , vehicles , boats and paintings with different colored matchsticks.

A man has in 10 years built the famous buildings of matches and at the right scale , so some of these buildings were fairly large , so these models were basically everywhere in the apartment.

His wife did not think it was sooooo funny , self was her hobby to solve crosswords and felt that it took not so much space.

But her husband was of a different opinion , he thought it was crosswords and newspapers littered everywhere in the apartment , even to the bathroom and there he had no buildings , yet.

Ok Zegon

I have a task for you.

Unfortunately, doing this task does not pay, it could be a bit time consuming. You may even enjoy it too.

It's a subject that I'm not aware of and a subject you can enlighten me as well as many others.

How about you duplicating what I've done here to the subject you spoke of and start a topic
on Building with colored matchsticks and post information, pictures, etc .. etc..

I touched a bit on the idea myself , but my mother said i can't play with matches.
