Quote:Common reasons for banning:
1) yes-testers. It's when a tester just answers "yes" while intentionally ignoring aspects of the step instructions. It could be all steps, or it could be just one step, or even just a small part of the step - like "scroll page", but a tester didn't;
2) not failing obvious errors. For instance, there is a big red Error on a page, but a tester just reloads the page and tries to do the step again;
3) not following the instructions exactly. For example, a step says to fill a form with some specific text, but a tester just filled it with an unrelated a, b, c;
4) improper comments to the clients. For example:
- "Where you able? facepalm" - the tester pointed out a typo in a rude way (extra 'h');
- "normalize speed of edge and I will do this job" - the tester was frustrated with how Edge runs in the VM, and places an unfair expectation on the customer to do fix something out of their control;
- "I have been at this Test for over 50 minutes now, and as I experienced in the past, it was about this time that the Connection Lost message appeared." - the tester had a bad connection and chose to send to the client a message about it, instead of just closing the job;
- comments with curse words;
- non-English comments.
5) awful English comprehension. When a tester doesn't understand even simple text.
Motivos comuns para banimento:
1) yes-tester. É quando um tester somente responde "Sim" enquanto intencionalmente ignora partes da instrução. Isso pode ser para todos os steps, ou somente em um, ou somente uma pequena parte do step - como dar scroll na página, mas o tester não faz isso;
2) não reportar erros óbvios. Existe um grande erro em vermelho na página, mas o tester só atualiza a página e tenta completar o step novamente;
3) não seguir as instruções com cuidado. Por exemplo, um step pede para preencher um formulário com um texto específico, mas o tester somente preenche com a, b, c;
4) comentários impróprios para os clientes. Por exemplo:
- "Where you able? facepalm", o certo seria "Were you able?, sem o H. O tester reportou um erro de digitação de maneira rude (devido ao facepalm);
- "normalize a velocidade da VM que eu faço esse hit" - o tester estava insatisfeito com a velocidade de resposta da VM e reportou com um comentário como se quem devesse resolver o problema de lentidão de VMs fossem os clientes;
- "eu já estou fazendo esse hit por mais de 50 minutos, e, por experiência, sei que é a partir desse tempo que recebe a mensagem de 'Connection Lost'" - o usuário teve um problema de conexão e escolheu reportar isso para o cliente ao invés de simplesmente fechar a página do hit (abandonar o hit);
- comentários com palavrões;
- comentários que não estão em Inglês;
5) péssima interpretação de Inglês. O tester não consegue entender frases simples em inglês.
