Calling a male witch a warlock is highly offensive - a warlock is a traitor who has been expelled from his moot.

A wizard practices wizadry, which is a distinct school of magic, not practiced by witches.

Personally, I'm of a "The Gods are personified metaphors of natural phenomenon" kind of guy, so don't have to play silly little word games like these, but I do have to put up with lots of people who take their Gods rather more literally than I do tell me what they've been bickering about this week.

Thanks for clearing that up nuances, not being a native English speaker I don´t know those little differences, well, perhaps many native speakers nor know, anyway it's interesting

It's so interesting to see how naturally you associate witchcraft with Gods, religion, etc., rather than with a devilish practice. That is, you seem to be aware of its true origins and meaning, instead of simply believing that generally uncultured stream, which inherited all the Christian crappy views on witches and dark arts.

No surprise actually, coming from you... but I mean, how many people nowadays is willing to go a little bit deeper than what they've always told us to believe?

1985, actually. Thanks to you I've just found out that I made a mistake, I'm not a Pig but an Ox!!

By the way, why did you assume that I was born in 1983, instead of... 1971 or even 1959, for example?

I think the pig was more cute
Because I think you're younger than me,actually you are old I thought you were, maybe I'm a little witch...

Yeah, me too. Someone told me a long time ago that I was a Pig, and I never bothered to check. :(

Uhm, so you thought I was in my 20's? Let me guess, you were born in... 1977?

By the way, you might be a wizard, but not a witch... unless you're half a woman or something, which I highly doubt! :P

Well, now you know for sure you're not a little pig.

I thought you had 30 to 35 but closer to 30 than 35.You're right, I am a few months of leaving thirty but it doesn´t seem, I keep as a twentysomething

Yes.a wizard,I don´t know was thinking to change sex at my age ...now I correct.

Yeah, but I'm saddened now... I'd rather be a little pig than a horned beast!

I agree, you never struck me as someone older than 30 something at the most... though I wouldn't have said you were an Aries either haha

Well, it's never too late you know, nowadays you can change your sex whenever you want! :P

Maybe mine is worst,I'm a horned beast and an animal that crawls and most are afraid but is what has touched us.

Sure, it's not easy to know how people are just for what they write in a forum, although one can get an idea of how are.

Yeah, that´s true, one can now even become an elf if that´s what he/she want but don´t see myself in that predicament,I'm fine as I am :)

For the record, and before someone gets touchy, I didn't intend to open a religious debate here; that was just an innocent comment which is somehow related to this topic.

I'd say you've got quite an interesting combination of beasts, both related to the Devil in some way haha, but (or thus) powerful. I personally find snakes to be repulsive, mysterious and attractive animals all at once.

It's not easy to really get to know a person even in the non virtual world... but yes, you can get an idea of their personality from watching how people behave online, the things they write, how they express themselves... even the greatest actor can't keep pretending all the time.

With that mixture of beasts I'm not related to the devil, I'm the devil   I like the snakes but it´s true that impose respect, especially poisonous.

I agree, it's hard to meet someone but I think in the non-virtual life is easier.

Yes an elf,in fact there are people who made body modifications to appear so, I've seen several photos of people who changed the style ears of elves.

Yep, non-virtual life undoubtedly offers some extra useful tools to get to know people.

You're so right, I don't know how I could get surprised by hearing that some people modify their bodies so they look like an elf... have you heard about those who get through hundreds of surgeries in order to look like Barbies or Kens, or just dolls?

By the way, not to go too off topic haha, do you happen to know what your ascendant is?

Actually also think I'm far from being the devil, just kidding.
I was thinking of a joke about that touching a snake... but I think it´s not the place nor the time to do it :silent:

Yes, of course I know about that such surgeries and people who modify their bodies to look for something else,or just to look better or because they like.

I don´t know anything about my ascendant or descendant is,sorry.Surely you can enlighten me.

I won't quote you this time haha, as it's becoming a real tome! (anyway, there's no need now, as I'm replying straight under your last post).

Sure, I knew you were kidding haha, but I wanted to make it clear how nice I think you are (in case it wasn't clear enough lol). I wonder what that joke about touching a snake might be...

Yep, to each their own I guess, if that makes them happy...

This link I've found will surely enlighten you better than I could:

Rising Signs - The Ascendant in Astrology

As the text mentions, you need to know the time you were born in order to find out what your ascendant is (as for a descendant, I've never heard it having anything else to do with Astrology haha). :P

You´ve done well, one more quote and the forum would explode  also it wasn´t necessary as you pointed ;)

I'll leave you with the fly behind the ear regarding snake joke :P

I made a quick reading of the article and there are many things that match and I identify with that but I haven´t been clear up the issue, I still don´t know what ascendant I´m :?

It has become clear that I'm a hick astrology, thought that if there be an ascending should be an descending

Hi Sarah! Interesting topic, indeed. :)

I'm an Aquarius (and a snake). Hubby is a Leo (very much so), and also a snake. Oddly enough, we're pretty much the true opposites attract couple. And it works. ;)

Maybe in France  Age is a state of mind so I simply don't think about it.

Okay back on topic.....

Yeah, and we don't want our dear forum to explode, right?

Okay bad boy, thanks for the snake joke thing. :x :P

Haha, don't worry, I'm not an expert either, it's just that I've always been interested, so I've made some research over the years. Perhaps there is a descendant or descending and I haven't heard of it!

Let's see, you need to know the time you were born, the exact time. Then you can use an online tool to calculate it, this one for example:

Ascendente astrológico: calcula tu signo Ascendente online.
