It's up to the management of ClixSense to determine whether or not a sponsor change will be permitted. Submit a ticket.

Why worry about your sponsor? You're not earning anything from them anyway. So become your own sponsor, learn everything you can about ClixSense, and teach others. That's what I and others have done. I joined long ago without a sponsor, and still have earned very well here.

I hope you're not worrying about it because no one above you is paying you to be their referral. Afterall, it's NOT a requirement for your sponsor to pay you, if they do, that's just a bonus. And since this forum and the site itself has a wealth of information, you don't need your sponsor to teach you anything....you can learn it quite well on your own.

And you don't know the reason for your own sponsor's inactivity. Maybe they're not inactive, just quiet. And it's not fair to them -- if they had paid for advertising.

I'm sorry, but I'm wholly against this idea of changing sponsors, just because they <insert reason here>. UNLESS your sponsor spams and harrasses you. Any other reason is just not good enough and is a slap in their face, as they very well may have spent good money to get referrals. It's just wrong.

The only time I make allowances is if somebody tried to sign up under a friend, and got it wrong. There needs to be evidence that they got it wrong - the referral ID contains one wrong character, or the URL was a bit dodgy, or something of that sort - and I don't even pay. When you refer someone to my site, you just get a kudos score that's good for nothing other than displaying in your profile. I'd be even more unmoving in my refusal to allow changes if I actually paid people.
