I turned into an old woman at some point. I've got a cupboard stocked with battenberg and swiss roll.

Grilled lean pork sirloin steak and a side of green leafy salad with cherry tomatoes, kalamata olives & feta cheese. All done in less than 10 minutes. ~7 minutes to grill the steak, and I make the salad while the steak is cooking & resting.

A steak grilled for 25 minutes??? Must be like eating leather

Though, by the time I finish doing everything the steak has probably cooked for closer to 8-10 minutes. Just a little bit of pinkness in the middle is perfect.

I grew up with the Aussie tradition of cooking pork until it was as dry as a bone (and about as tasty), but over the past few years have discovered that the taste buds really love it when a bit of juice is left in the meat.

I am not real fond of tuna. I use to eat tuna. Then they started packing tuna that looks like cat food.
Tuna salad made with tuna that looks like cat food taste mushy. Then they started packing the really
good tuna with a really good higher price. So me thought, isn't that a smart marketing ploy! Sell me
what looks like cat food and then create a new can and call it 'white' tuna and charge me more money.
That's like shortening my shoes and making me wear. Same difference.

That's what I like to do too! During Autumn and Winter, I make lots of casserole dishes or recipes for the crock pot. Really helps save me time and it does help keep the house warm and cozy. I can't wait until Thanksgiving......turkey festive! lol
