Let me tell thee all,
The fate that did befall,
Ee by ee by gum,
When outsiders came,
And tried to stake a claim,
Ee by ee by gum,
Next thing that you know,
They say they want to go,
Ee by ee by gum,
So we pulled down father's kecks,
And we chopped off both his legs,
Ee by ee by gum,
Then we took his ratty wife,
And buried her alive,
Ee by ee by gum,
Then we took his dirty kids,
And fed 'em all to the pigs,
Ee by ee by gum,
The moon shines bright,
On Mortlake tonight,
Ee by ee by gum,
Outsiders sleeping sound,
Six feet underground
Ee by ee by gum

Inbred set right here in the Great Jorvik Empire no less.

No, I really don't think I do.

I always like to watch a new scary movie and any that may come out at Halloween.
As far as a favorite, I can't think of any. Most movies, once I see it, I have no desire
to see it again. It's got to be either a very old classic from before the 70's or just a
really interesting movie to me. I think scary movies are really at the end of the line
for second time watch. Once you jump at a scene, you're usually not going to jump
again. Also, you already know whats around the corners, so to speak.

There are the old classic scary movies and the ones that have great acting and
thrilling scenes, that I can watch again every so often.....like the 'Legend of Hell House'
and 'Psycho'.

There's an old comedy classic that I love and have watched too many times to count
and that is 'Arsenic and Old Lace'.....it kind of reminds me of Halloween.

Here where I live, the movie tradition to watch is Hocus Pocus!

One of my favorites is "The Eye", but the original Korean version, not the American Remake.

I don't really have any favourites that would be classed as Halloween movies...I guess the closest would be Stephen King's It. The only movies of that sort of genre that I like are pretty much just adaptations of Stephen King books....Desperation, Needful Things etc. Some others I don't mind watching though not particular favourite of mine such as Nightmare on Elm Street, The Fog, Silent Hill

I have never really been into horror movies at all (only movies that can really be classed as Halloween movies) no matter what or how many I watch...the only "recent" horror movie I have fully watched was The Ring (2005 I believe or maybe a bit earlier?)...I just much prefer action movies or sci-fi, superhero etc

I don't really like horror as a genre, though I do like lots of horror films. I like quirkiness, and/or depth. Like Romero's Living Dead series, which isn't really about Zombies (Interesting Fact: The first one was just a mindless zombie film, the coincidental casting of a black actor hired at that particular time just happened to add a poignant political slant, which was then continued throughout the rest of the series).

I like Inbred for the quirkiness, and I'm also one of those three people who didn't think Pride, And Prejudice, And Zombies was the worst of both worlds.

I haven't seen a horror film that actually scared me since the Exorcist, but I don't watch them to be scared, I watch them to be intrigued.

After all these years, I finally got to see Texas Chainsaw movie.

I really don't have any favorite scary movies anymore. Some of the ones I saw this year made me jump a lot! Guess my reactions have changed.

A little story: When The Exorcist came out, hubby and I went to see it. That night in our new home in the country and no traffic or neighbors, there was a knocking on the ceiling just like in the beginning of the movie. How scary was that? I barely slept that night. When investigating IN THE DAYLIGHT, it was what we call a squirrel "playing basketball" (moving their walnuts to their hiding place in the ceiling). Took care of that right away!!!

Yes!

House of 1000 Corpses (Rob Zombie)

There was also a sequel - The Devils Rejects (Not as good as 1000 corpses, but still worth a watch if you like the characters)

He also did his own Halloween movie - it's a bit long but good if you like his films. Also, Caution(!!!): Do NOT watch if you don't like gore and so on - this applies to all of the movies I have just mentioned, so don't say I didn't warn yer! ;)

The original 'Last House on the Left' came out near the same time as 'Texas Chain Saw Massacre'.

Those were movies that came out primarily as drive in theater movies. That is where I saw them.....
way way way back in the early 70's at the drive in theater.

......Rob Zombie....I watched a little of a new one he has out and I couldn't handle it.....it was very
stupid but of course, most those kind of movies are.

I don't like gory movies but I do appreciate a good thriller and good scary movie.....the kind that
keeps you jumping and guessing.
