The market here is right next to the coach station. A crash would be nasty. The coach station is attached to the bus station, but the busses are a little bit too far away for a bus crash to touch the market, unless the bus was going much faster than it should.

The market has already been blown up once in the 90's - I was there when it happened. Everybody thought it was the INLA, but we eventually found out it was some animal rights group. It must suck to go as far as blowing something up and still not manage to get any PR out of it.

I've been hearing that for the past year. First it was April, then Sept., then last month, and now you're saying Nov.? Thank heavens I lost all mine in 2008. I have nothing left to lose and neither does my hubby and we haven't been able to built it up again..

Look up Shemitah...

Every 7 years there is a change.

Diversifying into Au/Ag/Pt can give you short gains, however being a prepper is a better option altogether.

That is a big hmmmm.......... Why ? Playing speculative stock ??

here is a small tip for safe play
Day trading but most play it wrong ,playing speculative stock to gain 10% or more a day,WRONG
Play day trading on conservative stable stock and gain 1% a week or 4-6% per month
It is less money but no loss
Just 5000 can earn you min 200 a month

Well I would agree we are in a "managed decline" (so that the elites can control the outcome) that has been happening since 2007-08. Even here in Slovenia (Central Europe; homeland of you possibly future first lady, Melania) just a few days ago, the doctors in the public sector were complaining that their wages have gone down for 30 % since '08. Of course the actual "Catch 22" is that the € (EURO) has lost 30 % of its value after the crash of 07-08. :?

And where currencies go down,... actual commodities (to balance the scale of the downfall) go up. If your wage is not adjusted to the actual inflation, by the end of the month you actually see the less currency in your bank account. I'm not even going to touch on the negative interest rates that the ECB has implemented. In addition, this is also a theft of your purchasing power.

However if you were to bring up this observation on the telly, the SJWs & the PC thought police would brand you as a separatist/nationalist to quell the financial scam & prevent the ongoing awakening. :x

Even Merkel not so long ago, suggested its people that they should have for at least 10 days of storeable food & water (Deutsche Banks's exposure to the derivatives ?)

Hey CatMonster look up Drinkable Book thingy. That's also a must have (another usability of silver as such).

I have been also slowly stockpiling up on various "artifacts" over the years. :)

I'm learning about reviving all sorts of lead batteries (Wet Cell, Pb-Gel, AGM) - chemically or electronically due to the well known phenomena (sulphatisation). I've playing with various pulse-type-based motors (Bedini, etc.) to help me get this done, since conventional products 4 this (CTEK Chargers 4 instance) are just simply too expensive for the playing.

Supercapacitor solutions (like Maxwell's 3000 F), which would be an excellent replacement (1, 2, 3), however still kind of expensive.

After that I only need to get myself a nice 8-10 12 V to 220 V battery inverter & I'm set 4 at least the electrical-supply-based side of prepping. :P

yeah.. big drop in stock market here in India too, this morning.......everything's bleeding...

market was poised for a decline but something triggered this vertical drop......what happened? did Obama sneeze?

Edit:

ok it wasn't Obama who sneezed, it was Donald Trump who qu***ed

according to Bloomberg, Donald Trump stunned american people and the world with his victory........

market reacted negatively first,knee-jerk reaction but staged a very strong comeback.......it is hard to tell how the market will pan out in next few weeks....my experience tells me when a market makes this kind of "V-shaped" recovery, it usually continues in that direction for some time....

most of the people are expecting market to go down but i suspect market will end up going up doing exactly opposite of what majority was expecting....market works in a mysterious way.

Mass hysteria at its finest. I honestly don't know what the big "SHOCK" is, one something that was that
much predictable - I guess doomsday and fear mongering is a big industry and yet people don't know that there has been far worse situations - and it rhymes with Banana LOL!

Beware

Fear / speculation drives the markets down. The domino effect. This is the same cycle of events.
People fear, panic, sell......drop drop drop drop........people wake up and go "hmmmmm wait a minute, this is good opportunity to buy back", markets go up up up....... Especially considering the ever so predictable event that was the result of this drop, in other words an event that people should have seen coming a mile away as opposed to a sudden "SHOCK" which is not really one. This is not the big "CRASH" that will take years to recover. The worst thing people can do is panic. WWIII has not started yet folks, you can keep your money under your shoe box and under the bed, no need to buy bitcoins yet lol.

a good time for online scams to flourish, I'd be more concerned over that.

Some smart investors actually use this opportunity to MAKE money, not lose it.
Those who panic and cry doomsday will be the biggest losers. Those who made smart investments
and make smart moves and actually take advantage of this, will be ahead.
