Am I tacky?

I notice some members don't have their total earnings showing up under their names when they post. Is it best for any reason to not have those earnings showing up? Am I tacky if I don't hide them? Need a Miss Manners of Clixsense to advise.

It's simply an option and means nothing.

Some members may prefer not to display their earnings due to a variety of reasons
and vice versa as well. Has nothing to do with 'tact'.

I display mine because "You can't earn anything here", and "You always disqualify from surveys" are the most annoying posts in the forum, which I can disprove without saying a word.

I also display tasks because I did them once upon a time, and there was probably a reason for it when I configured the settings, which may or may not still be relevant today.

It's kind of like those that don't display their name on the top referrals list.
Some are program owners and they don't want their members of the program they own, to
see the numbers they have referred. I don't know but as an example 'NeoBux' admin might
be a member here. You wouldn't want to display your name because in reality what you are
doing is taking away from your own advertisers.

Same goes for the forums. You might be surprised to know who people really are behind their
'user name'.

There are people that simply prefer their privacy in most all ways they can get it online. They
prefer not to relay much about themselves at all.

There are those people that don't want their information to get out into the search engines and
else where. They don't want their family or friends to know what they are doing.

There are those people that pay tax's to the tax man and focus on getting the best tax breaks
they can and prefer not to display their earnings.

There are people such as myself, that feel displaying their earnings may be intimidating to some
members. That is why I do display my earnings in brief periods but not consistent.

No tacky photos from me. Wouldn't want to scare all the other members off.

Yes it helps protect us rich from the poor, why pay Taxes if the poor are already paying them :P

Well i always liked my privacy i guess. Privacy works best for me, i can move around like a camouflaged fish in the sea plus it's best not to give too much information out for free without getting coupons in return.

reading all your comments made me think.......yes i do that once in a while,, would'nt it be gr8 if some of us members could actually meet up?
i know its very difficult for members of different countries to meet but a good starting point would be people from the same country,,same state/city?

everyone gets on so well here and its a pity that we just have to resort to messaging and posting ,meeting each other would really be the icing on the cake................hey clixsense hope you are listening, anything towards cheaper airfares? :D

I'll go hide in the moors. First one to find me wins...something.

That's your place, and your activity sorted.

I haven't seen a large hound, but I have seen a wild cat. There's so much cryptozoology nobody believes me, but I have.

They're thought extinct in England, but extant in Scotland, and the last time I checked, animals tended to ignore borders. It's not really that hard to imagine an animal managing to get from the South of Scotland to the North of England. They're definitely here.

But we can top that anyway - we have giants, and the spirits of legendary Norseman. Also, a retired policeman was abducted by aliens in the 80's.

aliens whahaha.

And I believe for a fact that story about wild cats ,I mean why not?

In a certain part of Germany they have a racoon problem..not a native animal.

Oh BouldRake, just the finding of YOU would be winning!!

Moors too creepy for me, though so someone else will get that prize.

There is a large cat of some sort wandering here in the rural farm area of SW Minnesota.
There have been a number of sightings over a few years time, and a local news reporter snapped a pic for the paper about 3-4 years ago.
It was a pretty distant shot, but you could see it pretty well, and you could tell that it wasn't a hoax pic.

We have just butt-loads of coyotes everywhere down here......you hear them all the time at night, even in town.

When we lived out on a farm place (before moving to the population 146 metropolis we currently live in), they would come on the yard in packs, and try to entice our dogs into the woods.....you could see their glowing eyes all around, at the edge of the yard.

They also occasionally grabbed some of our farm kitties for munching on......BIG farm kitties.

Icky stupid-head coyotes.
