Airline to charge for overhead lockers
Just when we thought flying couldn't get any worse, an airline has decided to charge passengers to use the overhead lockers.
U.S.-based airline, United Airlines, have announced that they will introduce a fee for people who want to stow away large items in the bins over their heads.
Along with charging for the overhead bins, it's been claimed United will also not assign any seats until the day of the flight, which means passengers travelling together may be separated.

According to United, the changes are all down to their new “Basic Economy” option, which will be introduced in 2017.

People complain about this, but it's actually really awesome.

They're not taking you for every single penny. This isn't British Airways where flights are three times more expensive than everywhere else, but that's okay because luggage is free.

Where British Airways automatically charges you for services you might not want, the budget airlines only charge you for what you actually use. It's the non-budget airlines that are taking you for a ride.

I don't care. I rarely fly any more so it doesn't affect me personally.

even though i travel several times a year,i still pee my pants coz so scary in the sky,,no support,imagine if the pilot falls a sleep? or the wings drop off?

pindo, I would advise that you never watch this show, or you will have perpetually wet pee-pee pants.

And maybe never travel by plane again.

I lived in many different countries, mostly just one at a time. But for about a year, I spent an equal amount of time in two countries. I used planes like most people used trains (with Wizzair, it was actually cheaper than the train, and even Eurolines - wouldn't have been possible paying BA prices).

I hated it to though. I never got used to flying either.
