Here davidbugs posted, "only "extremist" christians don't believe in Santa.... " So according to what he said, he really believes in it, like the kids do. Otherwise he is an "extreme" christian

As long as there are people who love children and want to make their dreams come true, there will always be a Santa Claus because the spirit of the season will exist.

In Colombia most of Latinomerica we know him with that name, Papa Noel, personage who lives in the North Pole according to the legend; For us, the reference to believe in Santa Claus, comes from San Nicolas of the region that today corresponds to Turkey.

If I believe in Papa Noel, in the world there are men and women who make charities for children, young people, elders who somehow imitate the actions of these characters.

In reality Santa is very bad person , it will be good to put him in jail for eternity

His gift list here

Poor get nothing or very poor gift

Rich get very rich gift

Mega rich get whatever they wish

Santa , You are very old but still will like to see you in jail . And where is my blonde gift ?

"No Politics/Religion. For the benefit of all, no discussion on religion and politics will be allowed. While we appreciate people’s beliefs and political ideals, they are not appropriate to be discussed or mentioned on this forum. Santa is Coca Cola . Coke’s annual advertisements featuring Sundblom-drawn Santas holding bottles of Coca-Cola, drinking Coca-Cola, receiving Coca-Cola as gifts, and enjoying Coca-Cola became a perennial Christmastime feature which helped spur Coca-Cola sales throughout the winter (and produced the bonus effect of appealing quite strongly to children, an important segment of the soft drink market). In an era before the advent of television, before color motion pictures became common, and before the widespread use of color in newspapers,Coca-Cola’smagazine advertisements, billboards, and point-of-sale store displays were for many Americans their primary exposure to the modern Santa Claus image.

Yes it is, but it is also a cultural celebration for some, and/or an excuse to receive a gift :D
