Whether Love is true or not

True love is not how you forgive, but how you forget, not what you see but what you feel, not how you listen but how you understand, and not how you let go but how you hold on.

I love :clixsense: True love is unconditional. There are no offence done to forgive, nothing hurting to forget, everything is beautiful so you will love to see it all, you will feel everything is wonderful, You will love listen to everything and also understand everything, every cell in your body will hold on to true love and even in your wildest dreams you will not think of letting go.

If the above is not true then you have fallen out of true love, check it out. Don't think so deep that you would drown, just enjoy the festive season

No such thing as true love.

There are stages of love and a variety of types of love.

Love for father. Love for mother. Love for your maker. Love for your children. Love for your spouse.
Love for pets. Love for friends.

All love is different and all love has different stages.

There is true love Valerie.

From your last statement (highlighted above), the peak of each type of love is true love.

Happy Holidays

love for me is being contented , happy etc etc
if you are talking about the other half then from experience i can say maybe it seems heaven on earth for a little while then you will tasting a bit of hell too....

it is beautiful while it lasts but tortures you once it ends, comes and goes as it pleases,no conditions attached.....
i say adopt a pet if you want someone to love and cherish.....
i live for the moment and for me love is momentarily,

memories are painful yes i know but what can you do,,,,just keep trying i guess and fill in the gaps where others have left off...

Well you know, everything is weird. Weird I tell you. Just weird.

Personally, I don't take this world very seriously. I don't know if that is a good thing
or a bad thing but it is my thing.

If I took this world seriously, I'd be a raving mad idiot. I think that is exactly what
happens to some people, they take the world much too seriously. Life is a gift, enjoy
it because you won't have it very long.

No, I don't think there is true love. There is stages of love, varieties of love, and
even conditions of love such as unconditional love.

This topic reminded me about these lyrics:

Quote:Love hurts
Love scars
Love wounds and marks
Any heart not tough or strong enough
To take a lot of pain, take a lot of pain
Love is like a cloud, it holds a lot of rain
Love hurts
Ooh love hurts
I'm young
I know
But even so
I know a thing or two, I learned from you
I really learned a lot, really learned a lot
Love is like a flame, it burns you when it's hot
Love hurts
Ooh love hurts
Some fools think
Of happiness, blissfulness, togetherness
Some fools fool themselves, I guess
They're not foolin' me
I know…

Actually it is an old song

And I came to the conclusion I'm not really *relation material*...it seems that way anyway.
Not that it bothers me I'm free like a bird.

As Tina T sings.....

"what's love got to do, got to do, with it?
-what's love, but a second-hand emotion?"

Oh me and Nazareth go way back.

Nazareth is the band and the album is 'Hair of the Dog'.

I say album because that is what it was when I bought it. In fact, I bought it on a 45 as a Christmas
gift for a best friend when I was in my Freshman year of high school....or was it Sophomore...well anyway,
she loved the song too.

Did you know Tina grew up down the road from where I live?

Well, a little further down the road but not much. Nutbush, Tennessee.

And doesn't that song (Hair of the Dog) sort of remind you of Marcel, too? :o :silent:

Love is a rush of hormones accompanied by a blindness to the shortcomings of the other person. You get older, you get wiser, you get a bit jaded. Then you trudge off into the wilderness to live by yourself and eat beans out of a can.
