There's a variety of things I like to do around the house that might be called 'hobbies'.

Coloring: Yeah, I like to color in coloring books. I am trying not to purchase any more coloring books for awhile because I have a lot that still need colored. I use gel pens and artist coloring pencils, mainly. I do use crayons some times too.

Jigsaw Puzzles: Mainly I do the brand 'Buffalo Games' 1000+ pieces. I have not worked on any in awhile. I seem to go through stages and do several and then not do any for several months.

Knitting and Crochet: I have a lot of yarn. One day a few years ago, I said to self 'self, make thousands of granny squares, put them in a box, and then sew them together to make 3 large throws'. I had it in my head to do ONE granny square a day. I'd make a big throw for each one of my children. Guess how many are in the box? Ok I will tell you......ONE.

In the warmer weather months I work outside a lot. There's always work to do here. Shrubs to trim and shrubs to trim and shrubs to trim....lots of shrubs to trim. Lots of mowing to do. Gardening and Veggie garden. I guess much of that would rank more as a 'chore' than a hobby.

Scrapbooking: It did take me awhile but I made 3 for my kids a few years ago for Christmas. I am presently working on making a few more.....

Family History: The 3 scrapbooks I am working on now, I am locating family photos offline and online, digging up some family history. Printing out photos and content. Placing those in sets of 3 for family history scrapbooks.

Gaming: Yeah, I have played the little gameboy games when it first came out and then over the years bought a few of the DS consoles. This Christmas I bought the New DS 3 XL and have played it very little since receiving it but like my other hobbies, I tend to go through periods of time in which I will do something a lot, then move on to do something else for awhile. I bought an Xbox One S and presently been playing with it.

Val you got so much on the go,doubt if you ever get bored..........thing with me is once i start something i have to finish it,that's the compulsive side of me,have to sort it out, kills me sometimes..
i like doing things with my hands,,,more on a creative level,i like knitting too, patchwork but can only make little things like finger puppets or dolls clothing, aint got the patience for anything bigger, love gardening too.

also like camping but right now my butt is so cold cannot move even with the heating on,so camping only is seasonal

i like to do a bit of everything, like you said, when you are fed up of one thing move on to the next, wish i could say the same with men too :D

I think for me it's a game that has a great history, everyone follows the rules, no-body cheats, a bit of friendly competition on a level playing field and then there's the social aspect, a pint with your friends in the clubhouse, a couple of weekends away a year and also the seasonal parties and get togethers......in essence a way to connect and enjoy other peoples company......Golf in itself almost becomes secondary...

In some ways I can say it's made me the man I am today.....
