Slow start to New Year

lilapopo wrote: What are your stats Valerie? I assume you work for Clixsense since you do always take their side so I guess they pay you to always defend them. Well you are a good employee and very loyal. You mention the stats of the other people but yours are hidden. Point is, there are very few ads lately and that is a fact! Surveys require that we give out a lot of personal information and quite honestly when you get disqualified from survey after survey (and sometimes never get paid when you do complete them, it is frustrating). I had the AT&T survey lock up and just stop after I worked on it for more than 30 minutes yesterday so time wasted and more frustration. BTW that same survey has done that to me before. I answered two surveys today and got paid $.08 for one and a few cents for the other one. I felt cheated and let them know that they are paying too little for the survey when I gave the review at the end. I hope other people do the same. I also like viewing ads and will work hard to make money and stay on the site for hours all day long if they give me ads to view. Clixsense says that there is no limit to the ads we can view but yet there are no ads to view. I'm no slacker so no need to try to put me down for telling the truth. The only time I haven't worked on this site was when my computer crashed and I had it repaired.

If you want to see my Stats, try looking some time. I display them off and on, consistently.
I have stated more than once, why I do that. What has my Stats got to do with the cost of
coal in China?

Moderators are not ClixSense employees. Moderators are volunteers.

I am not a child. I don't take sides. Neither do I know what you mean about defending 'them'.
Defend them from what? For giving people a free opportunity to make some extra money?
Or do you mean defend them from people that throw insults at them and the people that try
to help others?

Everyone that has worked online more than a couple of years, knows that Jan is the new year,
inventory, tax, and clean up time. There is always a slack of work in Jan. Always has been,
probably always will be. Even companies offline regroup in the new year, taking inventory,
preparing tax's, restocking, sorting, etc.

It is not anyone's fault here that you do surveys but your own. Like everything else here, it is
optional. ClixSense has no authority over survey companies or advertisers lack of purchases.

It's not even one week into the new year and you're complaining. Instead of asking questions,
you throw insults and lies.

I really don't know what your problem is other than you are mad because you are not making
much money here due to what you feel is your entitlement to a lot of ads, surveys, etc. Believe
it or not, you are not the only member here. If you want to get all miffed because you are not
getting what you think you are some how entitled to, go for it but just keep my name out of it.
Because I am telling you this, only once, I do not tolerate lies being told about me.

Just as a reminder, ClixSense is not a get rich quick program.

How much Mods earn is not important , we are all different and living in different part of the world , some work daily , some never and we will never earn same as another person
I do not care how much Valerie earn , 1 dollar per year or 1 dollar per minute . All i care is how much i can earn and how much time i can afford here at ClixSense

Well you see, that is YOU doing your own thinking.

There are others that think differently. For some members, they see others Stats as intimidating.

Whatever the case may be, it is optional information that is left up to the member.

ClixSense does not even force members to post their payment received.

Believe it or not, at least in the USA, there is still a little something called 'PRIVACY'. I don't even
ask my children how much money they make. I don't and I never have. I have a daughter that works
online from her home as a manager for a medical transcriptionist company. I have a daughter that is
a speech therapist for a school system. I have a son that works for a major manufacturing corporation.

In regards to myself, I don't mind displaying my stats but I do it when I feel like doing its and
I sure as heck don't do it because someone is telling me I have to.

not important for me too i dont even consider moderators any different thats why i wrote other contributors too but i look at things to get encouraged like valerie's earnings which is more than $12000 so if she can i can too not the other way being jealous or anything its completely different with individuals like the saying about the glass being half full or half empty

I have to admit it is slow right now. However it is giving me a break while I am sick. I started coming down with the Flu a few days ago so doing less right now is far better for me. I just wish the website explorer would have something again. I have made over $5 doing that in the past month or so thanks to Valerie telling some of us about it.

I just got a new referral just before Christmas and she was a lady in need so I upgraded her, she informed me yesterday that she is still clicking and hoping that the clicks and the offer comes back so she can buy some things for her daughters school. This is the sad part for me, because I know I can't help her out cash wise at this point either.

I had hoped for this to be one of my best years, and to make enough in my account this year to pay for my upgrade next month rather then using cash from my bank account. It may not happen. But we still have a few more weeks before Feb comes around so I may still make my quota.

I don't think I have a lot to do today. Certainly not anything I am going outside to do, it
is too cold. So keep an eye later on the 'Offers' sub forum. I will try and find some time to go
through those and see what I can do. I will post them with instructions.

WebExplorer did have several early this morn after cron run. I viewed an easy 5 worth 8 cents
before it pooffered out...

Think of Clixsense like anything else you try to do in life.

You put out a reasonable amount of effort and you'll make some money, reach your goal, keep your marriage together, finish college or whatever you're trying to do. If you don't put out an effort, nothing good happens for you. This is a slow time of year. It will get better after January and if you truly put out some effort.

Four offers in nine years? Hmmmm.

I am beginning to think I need to start checking it at 12 midnight. We had all that snow and sleet last night and tomorrow it is suppose to be 9 degrees in the morning. I took a nap today to try and feel better and someone showed up to buy some shingles so I made $45 offline today.

I will check the explorer late tonight and see if anything is there, got a shock awhile ago there was a few 1 cent ads, so I made some extra pennies here today.

For the slow months, I just keep Clixsense open and make sure I check the "keep signed in" box. Throughout the day I check back and see if anything is available. I loathe surveys, but recently I have been able to complete a few and get paid for them. I do remember the frustration of attempting to make money online, but like with everything good in this world, in time it will come. Patience is a good quality to have when attempting anything in this world.

I never said or thought Clixsense was a get rich quick program but making 10 cents for 2 hours work seems like slave labor, don't you think? We are somewhat employees of this business and working for nothing is not a very good way to treat employees, don't you think? We have to hunt for work on this site. Answering questions over and over and then getting disqualified is frustrating. That's all I'm saying. I suppose the ads will come back....or at least I hope. I have never seen your stats and I've read many of your posts and you always put down people who are simply trying to find a way to make money on here. Yes, we have complaints but we keep plugging away. I am not the one who is throwing insults Valerie, its YOU who always refer to people who are frustrated as wrong in how we feel. I'm not a complainer but right is right and when I feel cheated I will speak up. What about the times we work and don't get paid anything. I'm sure you are not "just a volunteer" and get something for what you do. If it is so easy to make money why don't you tell us how YOU do it, since you are so helpful.

BTW I did send Clixsense a message some time ago about surveys locking up almost at the end. They did nothing to fix it and lo and behold I ended up taking that AT&T survey again and it locked up again so for the second time I didn't get paid.
