Do you have a favorite Beatle?

For me, it is difficult to choose one.

I think John was very earthy and inspirational. I also think he was probably the best song writer.

Paul had the cuteness quality and was always out front and center.

George.....well, If I had to choose one to marry, it would've been George.

Ringo.....just goofy but of course, ya gotta have drums.

Gotta be John for me. Maybe it is because we shared the same birthday (9th October), but I always felt that the messages in his songs resonated most with me.

George would be my 2nd pick, because he wrote the most beautiful songs (such as "Something").

I think at different points in my life each one was a favorite at the time. Now that I'm older, though, I think I like George the best. :kitty:

By the way, when I was younger (really, really younger), I saw Twiggy on a variety show and she sang Three Dog Night's 'Pieces of April.' I had never heard the song before and when I grew up, it took forever to try and find it - I finally got it as an MP3 download. It's always been one of my favorite songs since then. :kitty:

I've got pieces of April, but it's a morning in May

You must be very young lytt. I think that song came out in the 70's when I was in my teens.

I wouldn't call anyone hater simply because they don't like the Beatles or don't like their music.

I am not real fond of their music myself. I am more of a Rolling Stones person.

However, I sure wouldn't say the Beatles are over rated.

When I was about 7 years old, my older sisters birthday, we both received a transistor radio.
It was the year the Beatles came to America for the first time. To say they made a major
impact on America and the world, would be an under statement.

My favorite songs by the Beatles are their first songs. The songs from way back in the 60's.
Some of my favorite songs by the Beatles in the 60's:

Hey Jude
Yesterday
Come Together
All My Loving
Lady Madonna
Revolution
And I love Her
Love Me Do

All of those are from the 60's and out of those favorites I would have to say that 'Yesterday'
is my absolute favorite.

No, just you are in kindergarten. The K is not capitalized within a sentence, by the way.

Paul has always been my favorite. I just love him. When I was a kid, maybe 7 or 8, I got the Hard Day's Night Album, and I drew hearts around all the pictures of Paul on the cover, and I wrote I love Paul over them. I wish I still had my Beatles albums. Ah, such sweet memories.
