Ads dried up...

#1 by toddman321 » Sat Feb 04, 2017 05:06

I tell you what, I installed the Clixaddon browser about 6 months ago, and man those ads were over 200 clicks at a time that I could click on. About the middle of the Christmas bonus special they had, it just dried up. Don't know what it is, but I went from making about $3.00 a day just on clicks alone, to where I'm very, very lucky just to make a buck now. I did put in a support ticket, and I got some mumbo jumbo about getting the Clixaddon (which I've already got), to keep the browser open for 90 minutes at least. I'm not doing anything any different, the ads are just cut off so that they are just at a very few a day. Don't know what they problem is, but I'm seriously thinking about leaving ClixSense because of this.

It's your decision to stay or go but it sounds like you might be wanting to make free
money here. I see you are in the USA and I see you are a premium member.

So first of all, let me say that it is primarily advertisers that purchase ads. Kind of
common sense, right? You're been here since 2007 so you know that hundreds of
ads are not always available. I am sure you realize that. In fact, it has only been
perhaps the last year or a bit longer that ClixSense has had a big advertisers or two
purchase thousands of ad credits, such as the X ads. What is that called Xoly or some
such as that.

Personally, I think I have views more PTC ads in the past couple of years here, than I
have any where in my entire life or the entire time I have been here. Now I know it's
a matter of what one prefers to do but some times it's like the 'coulda had a V8' if you
know what I mean.

If you will, hang around a moment and allow me to show you something and explain
to you how you can make MORE than $3.00 a day with ClixSense.

Oh, I forgot my PTC, be right back.

2 1 10 3 3 13 30 $ 0.0200 $ 0.1000 $ 0.0150 $ 0.0030 $ 0.0130 $ 0.1510

I made .15 cents yesterday viewing the ads. Every little dab will do ya, I always say.

Oh just a minute, I need to highlife some stuff up there so you'll see readily what I am explaining.

Ok so that looks like about .23 cents for the EngageMe.TV auto-pilot ads.

That is a total of $0.38 cents.

If we subtract $0.38 cents from my grand total of $5.66 = we get $5.28

Now then allow me to get down to the nitty gritty. I don't like to bunch things up so I will open a
new post......

Ok sitting viewing ads all day is easy but I gotta tell ya, it is not my cup of tea and with
all seriousness, bore's me to tears. Seriously, I be like eyes get all watery and my fingers
are a little arthritic as it is, just no fun for me to sit and click ads all day and all night to make
$3.00. Oh and lets make sure everyone understands, viewing ads is fine and sure easy way
to make a buck but it is also extremely time consuming if you are out to make $3.00. I did
that a few times when they had those X ads coming in all day and night. I thought I was
gonna die. I think the most I ever clicked in a day was something like 700. How much
was that? Something like $3.00 or so.

Anyway, it's just common sense that ads are based on people that purchase ad credits and
apply those ad credits to an ad they want to advertise. Some days there are more ads to
view than other days. I mean, I don't even feel like that is worth explaining. You can't
pull ads our of the sky and give people what you don't have to give. So complaining about
not having ads to view is saying:

'I don't have ads to view so I best get out there and do some advertising myself to bring in advertisers'.

That really is it in a nutshell. Outta sight, Outta mind, they say. So it really is up to all members
to spread the word that ClixSense is a great place to advertise.

Well anyway, it is just me I suppose but I just can't sit here on my rump and click ads 24/7.
A big night of clicking ads about puts me in a coma. I am like all bug eyed and dehydrated.

So this is what I do when I want to make money at ClixSense......

I view the PTC ads as I see them. As long as there is not hundreds of them, that is.
If there is something I can do on auto-pilot, I will usually open a new window and do it.

As you can see above 'Adscend' the EngageME.tv offers. I open that in a new window
and let it run. It doesn't pay much but there are days I make about $1.00 with it. Other
days maybe less. It just depends on how well it runs that day and how busy I am.

As you can also see above, most the earnings came from me doing surveys BUT what
surveys did I do? Let's look at this group I did:

50,122,839 03 Feb 2017 13:33 EST Complete YourSurveys (Project #9288168) $0.2100
50,120,562 03 Feb 2017 12:08 EST Complete Samplicio.us (Project #643160) $0.4900
50,119,601 03 Feb 2017 11:22 EST Complete YourSurveys (Project #9295575) $0.2000

Can you see the time? Over the course of a couple of hours, trying at varying times to grab
a survey when I wasn't busy doing something else, I made $0.90 cents. How much money
do you make viewing ads here in a couple of hours? Is it .90 cents? Take a look at the amounts
on those 3 surveys. A puny 20 cents, a puny 49 cents and a puny 21 cents. My TIME is important
to me and TIME is money they say.....

When I attempt a survey from the 'Survey's' I am going to look at what? Am I gong to look at
the amount I will be paid or will I look at the time it takes to complete it? The answer is I am
going to look at both and usually I am going to choose the LOWEST amount of time. Which
would I attempt FIRST:

Survey $4.00 33 minutes
Survey $0.20 5 minutes

Heck I know from jump that $4 dollar survey at 33 minutes is probably either going to boot me
or going to be every bit of 33 minutes if not more. I also know that I can probably make a fast
.20 cents if I grab that 5 minute survey and then IF the $4 one is still available, I MIGHT try it
next.

Therefore, mostly what I am looking at is TIME.

I highlighted one in gold color up there because that one is as good as gold but it is one in
'pending'. Hey, I don't care if they go into pending. Money is money and it's kind of nice
to see some more money on down the road. So on March 6, I will see an extra dollar pop
up. YAY!

If you keep looking you will see I did some listed in 'Peanut Labs'. I tend to favor PeanutLabs
for doing surveys but they do some times run out. Those two were good for almost a couple
of bucks.

Now the next thing I want to convert to you is the NAMES of those survey programs in which
I was paid for completing surveys. I can't stress this enough. The reason why I say this is
because there is always members that get aggravated and want to complain and say this don't
pay and that don't pay, etc. So I ask you.......

I ask you folks reading this, does the following surveys pay?

PeanutLabs?
CINT?
YourSurveys?
SampleCube?
Samplicio?

Yep, some times you have to try a lot of times to get a survey that you are qualified to do.
Another good reason to first choose those that list times under 10 minutes. You certainly
won't spend a lot of time trying to qualify.

So there is some hints for all to read. If you want to make money with ClixSense, you need
to realize there is more than one way to skin a...errrrr never mind. I'll just say, try the offers,
surveys, etc because there is a lot more money at ClixSense than viewing ads.

You are correct about that. They do overwhelm.

I think that might be a good 'Feature Request' to place those numerous ads in another block category.
I've thought about that before and I know if I was wanting to advertise, I wouldn't apply my credits
in that block. I'd probably do the grid or the sticky.
