My 2 cents regarding Paypal

Locked

#1 by buckeye41066 » Thu Feb 09, 2017 16:26

I have been a businessman for several years and just recently sold my business and retired. I was always curious as to why Paypal even did business with Clixsense, because Paypal normally has nothing to do with MLM businesses, which Clixsense technically is. I figured the only reason was that Clixsense always did pay and did not require people to upgrade, which certainly would have caused Paypal to not do business with Clixsense.

I figure that it has to do mostly with all the scam PTC's out there, and this has caused Paypal to tighten it's policies regarding MLM's. I feel it has nothing to do with Clixsense itself. Paypal, along with the other processors have been under heavy scrutiny, since the aftermath of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks in the United States. Processors, since the enactment of the Patriot Act, have had to show the United States Government that they are not allowing money laundering and other financial crimes.

Clixsense has always paid. I personally donate what I earn here to Children's hospital. I do not know the Clixsense owner personally and have never talked with him, but I really do not feel, as has been suggested elsewhere in this forum, that this is the end of Clixsense. I honestly feel that people who are concerned about this, have no reason to feel this way.

This is just my thoughts.

Of course it is not the end of ClixSense. There is no reason why it would be.

ClixSense originally only paid out by check. They existed just fine and had hundreds of
thousands of active members......and the only payment option was check.

So those that say this is the end of ClixSense simply do not have any idea what they are talking about.

In fact, I would go so far to say that most members here, read the info about PayPal being discontinued
and said 'ho hum'. Believe it or not, not everyone uses PayPal.

In fact, PayPal has a very bad reputation and in my opinion, it is getting worse with time. They might
as well just call themselves out and be done with it.....as in eBay. That's about all they really focus on.

Sure for myself and everyone else that has used PayPal, it is handy and has been handy since many
online sites use it. However, it is far from being the only online payment processor. Some times people
get in the habit of one thing and that is all they know. If they do their research, start trying other options,
they might find they like it better than PayPal.

But to be considered as a MLM you need to have a product to sell. Clixsense doesn't have a product that people are forced to purchase to buy to be able to earn while enrolling others. I think it's a difference.

And if Clixsense doesn't motivate people to use others methods we ill see a serious drop to be honest, and advertisers may be the first .

Well we can call this Clixsense 3.0 the new era

Not really. They are considered MLM but do not require you to enroll anyone. The product can be an actual physical product or a service, such as the opportunity to earn doing surveys, PTC's, and other means Clixsense has. The legal definition under United States law doesn't specify a physical product to be considered an MLM. I cannot speak for other countries and their legal definition, but in the United States, it doesn't have to be a physical product for sale.

Paypal removal might not end clixsense but it will hurt it. All other payment processors apart from paypal are garbage due to lack of features or bogus fees. Bitcoin could help save clixsense but admin seems to be reluctant to add it....

You are confusing MLM with ponzi. While CS is an MLM (multi level marketing) it is not a ponzi

As for paypal. I read sometime ago that they do not like any site that has affiliates. This goes against their philosophy about the nature of work. They do not believe independent affiliates should be considered workers and they should not be rewarded for bringing to sites fellow members. I think they want everyone to be wage slaves and this is a threat to that belief. Paypal should be boycotted every chance you get and if you can choose between them and any other payment source, then I would choose the alternative. If you weren't making the owners billions they would want nothing to do with you. They are not good community members. They hate the little people from what I understand and are classic elitests

Correct...CS is MLM, but certainly not a Ponzi. As I stated earlier, I think Paypal was accepting of CS because they always paid, as no one could claim they didn't, and they didn't require recruiting or paying to upgrade, which clearly they do not accept. I think they just decided to no longer do business with CS because of all the other PTC's, which were scams.

ClixSense is only MLM if you are a premium member.

In reality, there is not much law on it.

For example, people can join CS free. They can refer others and earn a small stipend
on that referrals activity. This is not MLM. Nothing multi about it.

The premium option has always been within legal guidelines. Once you go over the $99
mark, that is when you are asking for trouble. At about a $1.40 per month for premium,
and only earning a buck when someone down the line upgrades, makes it mighty tough
for even PayPal to call ClixSense anything outside of a legal entity.

Having a product does not mean anything. ClixSense is not product oriented. ClixSense
is service oriented. It offers a legitimate service.

Anyway, I personally don't see this PayPal thing as a deal breaker. It never has been and
there are plenty of other options for payments.

I do think that Paypal removed Clixsense because of that multi-level upgrade commissions. In their eyes, it's an MLM, and that's all it takes for Paypal to block Clixsense. It doesn't matter if everyone else thinks it's not MLM, Paypal's word is final in this case.

Paypal removal isn't really a huge dealbreaker for US/Canada members, because they've all been forced to use Check at least once, but the ones from 3rd world countries will be hurt the most. For them, Paypal may be their only viable cash out option, and this might cause them to lose their balances.

Also, unless Clixsense adds Stripe or something like that for ad purchases, there won't be as many ads on the platform, because most purchases are via Paypal. Maybe Jim could add this feature in AdHitz (that sites PP seems OK right now)

If Jim can figure out what part of Clixsense business violates their policy, and if removing it wouldn't be too hard (ex. the multi-level upgrade commission), I would prefer that the violating features be removed than lose Paypal.

why cant clixsense make some changes as it did moving forward all these years to get paypal back, yes they have other payment options but the most trustworthy was paypal now we have to not only pay extra though not much but also have to share our bank info with them
and there is no guarantee going forward that these payment options will stay too cause few days back jim had problems with payza, so you cant be rigid for long else clixsense will suffer not paypal not payza but clixsense is going to lose money

Love how these mods like Valerie are pretending everything is hunky dory and Clixsense is moving forward just fine.

Fact is for many members lack of PayPal IS a deal breaker. It's our ONLY viable option. I'd love to know what these other payment options are that Valerie keeps referring to. Are you going send checks to everyone worldwide? No, didn't think so.

Processors like payoneer and skrill are useless as they take a huge cut of the payment through their fees. Tango is crap for non-American users. You know this so stop treating us like fools.

I just don't understand why the admin won't modify his business to get PayPal back. Both are being stubborn, but who is going to end up losing? Certainly not PayPal.

Maybe Clixsense is fine with downgrading as a company. Maybe it is happy with being a NA only company with a few thousand members rather than the worldwide company that it currently is with millions of members. If so, good luck to you. I think we've all had a good run and maybe it is time to say goodbye.

All I would say though is stop burying your head in the sand and tell it like it is. being a company shill at this time is not helping anyone.

That is one very important reason to add bitcoin. Not just for cashouts but because most other PTCs now pay in BTC. Those are all potential advertisers and upgrades that are being blocked because there are a few extra steps needed to use their BTC here. The fees in between the steps gives people the incentive to just spend their BTC right away at the next closest PTC that accepts BTC with the push of a button

Ad dollars are very fickle and if you make them work to spend on your site you might lose them. Especially with all the other competition out there

How do we know that it is one particular part of the site that is the reason for Paypal removing itself? For all we know, it could simply be the start of Paypal removing itself from all websites that don't involve physical products (ie all PTCs, GPTs etc), though it's interesting that the website beginning with N has no issues but maybe that will be coming for them too. It could simply be that CS doesn't create enough profit for PP. Paypal has not made sense for several years now and their decisions these days frequently border on idiotic.

Maybe they got wind of the money laundering investigation against them and decided to start proactive measures (though I would have thought they'd have blocked the aforementioned site first but then again, as I said, idiotic)

I sent a mail to PayPal. Here is their reply.

Thank you for contacting PayPal Customer Support. My name is Muzzafar and I am happy to assist you with your concern regarding stopping payments from Clixsense.com.

Mr. Udayakumar, I understand your concern and based on that I would like to inform you that there is no such official news from PayPal of stopping payments from clixsense.com and as I can see in your transaction log you have received payment from clixsense.com on 4th of Feb and I would further like to inform you that you can receive payments from clixsense.com without any issue from our side.

by above reply it is very clear that problem is with our Admin only

may be he does not want to negotiate with paypal. may be he is getting many losses with paypal as many members keep on cashout weekly

so many years Admin has managed well now it looks he can't

so drastically increased the fee to $2 where he can recover his many losses

at the end of the day we members are sufferers by paying extra fee to Admin and the new payment processors

Yes, my instint tells me that this is Clixsense decision not to use Paypal. Not Paypal's decision.
Paypal is very strict in their act of conduct. I know because I'm one of their member. Its hard to even register yourself as a member because the procedure means you can't cheat!

If you want to cheat/ is a scammers, Paypal will not accept.

Interesting. Others have said they emailed PayPal, I wonder what their results were. Maybe I will email PP and see what they tell me. Thanks for this information. I wonder if Admin will respond to your post.

My god......after reading the above post I decided to ring Paypal myself and they've just told me that they have in

no way banned Clixsense from sending payments through them.....I believe an explanation is due as someone is

not being honest!!!!!

I've been here virtually since the start and never had any problem with Paypal before and as I look around the

other so called PTC sites they are mostly still able to process payments through Paypal.....I smell a rat!
