I don't really know any clothing brands. Though I did buy a Lacoste "penguin" shirt back in the 1980s & used to wear Levis jeans in my teens & twenties.

I just do a shop once every one or two years at my local (Aussie) K-Mart or Target. I'm really a t-shirt, shorts & thongs (flip-flops, not undies) sort of guy. If it is cotton, fits, doesn't look too daggy & doesn't cost more than $25, I'll buy it.

They just don't really make fashionable clothing for men like me who look like a shorter version of George Costanza carrying a few extra pounds.

The Caddyshack generation

I think about 90% of the people in that movie were wearing those shirts (or variants of them).

The brand doesn't really matter to me. I have expensive clothes and I have inexpensive clothes.

I generally prefer the inexpensive clothes. The cheaper, the better.

It's so hot here in the summer that I primarily wear shorts, tank tops.
I do have a thing for Nike flip flops/sandles.....they are a thong flip flop but very padded with a
decent slim sole....I usually get those at JCP. They're not expensive but not real cheap. They're
just very comfortable.

For jeans I mostly prefer 'levi's and 'guess' but I do buy cheap wranglers at the walmart for
working around the house.

It's not extremely cold here in the winter so I tend to wear sweaters more than coats and jackets.
I probably spend more money on sweaters than I do any other articles of general clothing.

If I see something I like and I like the way it fits on me, I buy it

I am still kind of stuck in the 70's and tend to wear shorts, jeans, rock n roll and tie dye t shirts.

I used to have a preference for particular brands when I was younger, though I would buy other brands. Clothing-wise, I tended to go for Nike stuff as it was generally comfortable and hard wearing.

Shoes was where I was always a lot more specific as I had a job where I was on my feet for long periods of time and needed comfortable shoes that lasted....my first choice was always Caterpillar shoes despite the hefty price tag (£100+) as they were so comfortable and would last a long time. Leisure shoes was generally always Nike trainers as they were always the most comfortable.

Nowadays I just buy whatever is comfortable and does the job...sometimes it will be branded like Nike etc but just as often it could from the local supermarket (Asda, Tesco etc)
