What kind of volunteer work are you involved in? I would be interested to know about the interests that inspire you to donate your free time. I have been a volunteer foster for homeless dogs, took care of their veterinary needs and socializing, then worked with a licensed shelter to find new homes for them.

I volunteer for a local homeless charity in the foodbank and also run an allotment group, so the clients can get some fresh air and a change of scenery, also learn about vegetables and how they are produced. I've also run some mindfulness and relaxation groups. I'd recommend volunteering to anyone.

I did a little for Emmaus (charity) I stopped because I was tired to see that a lot of people taking benefits are not people in needs. And when i say lot, i mean more than half of the people.

I use to resume dogs and cats and birds and others animals in big island of hawaii. It's hard when the food bank only gives so much,I know how that goes.I wish I had a place or land I would help you take care of all of them. Yea I been doing that for 8 years. Plus I donate some of them to the zoo, families that loves animals.one time I had to rescue a puppy because the mommy dog neve like her puppy. I had to baby her until she comes big. I hope n pray you ,me and others people get some blessings for all of us. Even for the animals... I use to celebrate their birthday. I love what you doing.awesome job.my prayers with you.

Yes pindo I hate plasics though they have many advantages some people are unaware of the harmful effect of burning plastics which produces a toxic substance called dioxane which is the main culprit of a number of cancers.. I also appreciate your love towards animals since all lifeforms on earth should be given proper care to save Earth.

Yes , you can if anyone knows how bad it can happen in life.

Maybe it's time for us to fly to another planet , where there is 'vacuum' all the time.

I do about 10 hours a week in a community shop at the end of my road. We raise money for local charities and schools. Unlike big charities no-one, not even the manager or our accountant is paid.
Someone mentioned allotments. I'm trying to set up s seed exchange scheme and have a goal where we can sell excess veg cheaply to local people. However, allotment holders have to be careful about what they sell due to the law.
