I would have to say food.

If you don't have food, you die.

If you're dead, you don't see your family.

i would say family coz to me the closest and dearest are people you can turn to for help when you are in difficulty,,,everything is important but just think if you got no family whom will you share with?

a lonely life is equal to a meaningless life :(

I totally disagree with that remark....your life is what you make of it.

The late Kerry Packer, once Australia's richest man (and the architect of World Series Cricket), said on at least one occasion that he would have given up all of his wealth for good health.

I've got neither, so I'll just have to stick with food as my #1 choice.

Not necessarily lonely. I think there are three situations one can be in when they are by themselves:

1) Alone (on their own, with no-one to call on or help them if needed). Alone is a physical state.

2) Lonely (on their own, with a need for human company & human interaction). Lonely is an emotional state.

3) Solitude (on their own but not feeling alone or lonely, and quite okay with that)

Of course, one can also feel quite lonely even when surrounded by lots of people, if there is no connection with them.

i agree to a certain extent but sometimes there are obstacles in your way which prevent you from reaching your goals no matter how hard you try :(

failure and success precede each other like day and night...what is there one day might not be the next......
the most painful memories are when your loved ones pass away..........that time you will understand family ties.

yes anyone can be your worst enemy, even family but there is a reason of why that is,could be them or you.
bottom line is without your parents not you ,i or tasman would be here so we are connected whether we like it or not and whatever happens to them will affect us in one way or another..

ok enuff of my indepth analysis on this topic lets move on,,,,,,,,,next plz
