Today is world water day .the worst problem suffered by the world is lack of pure drinking water and this may worsen in the coming years. even though 70% of the earth is covered with water there are many places on the earth where there is scarcity of pure water. It is mainly due to many activities of human beings ,if it goes this way the next generation would suffer a lot . hence we should avoid our selfish motives and take steps to preserve water so that the future generation also thrives as we do . water the most versatile compound should be preserved or else we will suffer let this water day remind us of this truth

i dont think we can preserve water raju?

thing is its constantly being used and recycled for example,we drink,we pee,it goes underground to the sewers where its collected ,cleaned and pumped back into our homes,well that's the system here in england,,,,elsewhere in the world,farmers water the land,the water seeps into the ground collects there ,we pump it out again,,same with rain water,everything stays on this planet,nothing goes anywhere,if it does its straight back into the soil.....what we can do raju is make better cleaning systems to purify contaminated water,because alot of countries are having problems accessing pure water..water is readily available everywhere,but its those remote areas where people need transport or some company bring the supply to them.

i understand what you are trying to say and its a fair comment,but to preserve water ,that kinda strange,coz no one does it as its used on a daily basis.

@rajukurup, don't know who locked this topic but I was going to say .... finally a good topic of conversation.
It's also an extremely important topic since animals cannot survive without water and water has
become the number one commodity in the world.

@pindokhan123, you crack me up some times. Water is not recycled....at least nothing like that.

PS. I think the word is probably 'conserve' not 'preserve'. However, water can be preserved for a period of time.
