Members, we've thought long and hard about what to do about the Paypal issue. In my discussions with Paypal they told me if we removed our PTC ads & ClixGrid we could probably get our account back because we would no longer be in the PTC category.

This would mean a major business model change as ClixSense would then become only an offer, survey and task company. We would of course continue to improve on this by adding more companies to work with but PTC advertising would be gone forever.

***THIS DOES NOT MEAN WE ARE DOING THIS, WE ONLY WANT YOUR INPUT***

Thanks
Jim

I think its time to move on, not having or having paypal anyway. Would be better new companies, the PTC its old fashion now.

Clixsense would not be Clixsense without ads.

I'm a low-tier country so surveys/offers are a bit scarce for me, If this could somehow be improved then, hmmm Maybe.

The benefit of using paypal and its lower commissions is greater than the few cents we earn with ads and clixgrid and the risk of scripts and viruses

To be honest, lots of people like PayPal, and I am one of them, but there are other payment processors available. I think if you look close at each one of them, read all their conditions, talk to others about these payment processors, one of them will suit you. You don't have to rush into the first payment processor you find. take your time to find the right one. I changed to payoneer and can't complain. It was even better than pay pal.

Can you make up your mind since according to this post:

Quote:Yes its a good idea I have not even got a another payment processor, just open a 0% intrest account in the bank of Clixsense, maybe Paypal will be back I have noticed some third class sites with not even a million members still having Paypal so there is still hope.

Clixsense has made its name as one of the two best PTCs making it quite unique. As an Offerwall it'd be one in a sea of very many. If the site remains profitable I suggest staying a PTC. Removal of the PTC features would mean the site is effectively gone for me after six years of daily clicking. If it doesn't, roll with the changes. It's 'our' site but it's your life. It needs to be worth your effort in doing or it won't be any good to anyone. Meanwhile you just paid my cash out in Payza. It works just as well as Paypal. Other than three letters 'pal' to 'za' for me nothing has changed.

One thing is, there are many members here only clicking the ads. So it may look good for those who are fan of Paypal and are able to complete tasks-offers-surveys, but what about the others ? They will leave..

And I am used to listen daily:
"Hi I am Mike you remember me, back in 2013..."

Of course I would not want the PTC gone... specially not FOREVER; since this is the only way (Surveys are rarely shown to me) I benefit from this awesome site. HOWEVER, I'm sure my opinion is only one, but there are many options to be analyzed so far. And as Arvind9 said: Paypal is not worth the risk.

Jinky.

No, don't remove PTC !

Some country doesn't have always surveys, tasks to complete...

Then, if PTC Ads are disabled we won't earn nothing

In my opinion the PTC ads hardly bring anything.

And the comments are exactly what I expected they would be.

Does the removal of Clixgrid and the PTC's mean that we would no longer have the CixAddon bonus and the Activity bonus? I'd need to know that before making a choice.

Are Paypal firm with the minimum action being remove PTC/ClixGrid? Maybe they would be happy with something lesser, like just not allowing PTC purchases, or just removing something like ClixGrid (maybe they consider it gambling)

Jim, you know better than we do what your stats are, what's happening, enrollment increase or decrease, activity level, etc. You also know where the money is.

ClixSense has been online for ten years. I think it's time to revamp and up the game. Do away with the PTC. Do away with the ClixGrid. Get the programmers working to get ClixSense up to date. Implement Mobile. Implement an APP. Redesign the website. Implement Cash Back Shopping.

Those that say the PTC is gone, they won't earn nothing. Well if that is all you do here, you don't earn nothing any way. Seriously, what is your average earnings per month from viewing ads only? I just betcha that most that do nothing but view ads daily, are lucky to make $2.00 a month. The exception would be perhaps the USA when a big PTC advertiser comes to town but that is rare.

You can say whatever you want but the people that utilize PayPal, you know where they go. They just head over to a competitor site and I am not referring to NB.

Hi:

I think we can change payment processor. I use paypal, but I also have Neteller and Payza although I prefer Neteller.
I joined Clixsense because it was a PTC page, I am a premium user, although I do not have any referrals. The offers I almost can not apply, the tasks sometimes take away too much time and not pay much, although times when they are simple and quick things, like seeing images I make them. Surveys are always willing to do them, but most times they reject me, other than they send me very few. So the only certainty is to entertain me 5 or 8 minutes a day looking at ads.

I think that instead of removing options to make money, there is a need to try to increase them.

Greetings.
